The MZU 2008 switching unit can be installed in 19” racks for selective voice/music switching in 8 audio zones, with the
possibility to increase the number of zones as multiple of 8, adding other MZU 2008 in cascade. Selection of the zones in which the music is to be interrupted and an announcement transmitted is carried out from the MBT 8008 control console.
Using the 8 “MUSIC” keys on the front panel, you can choose in which of the 8 audio zones to play the normal background
music and in which zones no music is to be played. The system can be configured in one of the following ways:
• a) the 2 inputs of the unit are driven by two amplifiers, one of which is dedicated to voice transmission and the other to music transmission.
The 8 outputs of the unit drive the 8 speakers of the 8 audio zones.
• b) the 2 inputs of the unit are driven by two signal preamplifiers, one of which is dedicated to voice transmission and the other to music transmission. The 8 outputs of the unit drive the 8 power amplifiers dedicated to sound diffusion in the 8 audio zones.

The dbx 530 Parametric EQ offers a unique degree of equalization flexibility in the popular 500 Series format. Based upon the classic dbx 905, the dbx 530 is an uncompromising equalizer offering true, fully parametric operation of all three filter bands! dbx has a much-heralded history with modular processors dating back to our 900 Series, and the dbx 530 continues that tradition.

The dbx 530\'s overlapping bands each offer control of frequency bandwidth (Q) and up to 15dB of reciprocal cut or boost to provide exact, complimentary filter action for the most demanding of equalization needs. For problem situations requiring the removal of spurious signals, each of the bands can be independently switched into ?infinite notch? mode without affecting the operation of others. In situations where a shelving equalizer will produce better results than a peaking one, the 530’s high and low bands can be independently switched from peaking to shelving operation. You can also make instant affected/bypassed comparisons using the 530\'s ?On? switch.

Load up your 500 Series rack with dbx 530 Parametric EQs and cut your way through mixes like an audio surgeon!

Overview Dial in YOUR mix exactly as YOU want it, in Real Time.

The PMC16 is a 16 channel personal monitor controller which allows the user to create a custom mix from 16 channels of audio. Designed to be used with the dbx TR1616 or any other BLU link compatible device, the PMC16 allows for monitoring with headphones, in-ear monitors, powered monitors, or traditional wedge monitors. Multiple PMC16s can be daisy chained using CAT5e cable allowing each user to receive 16 channels of high-resolution digital audio and create their own personalized mix to suit their monitoring needs. The PMC16 comprises a 16 channel mixer section with full control of levels, panning, effect send levels, muting, and soloing. Onboard Lexicon© reverb provides the finishing touch. The PMC16ʼs output processing section includes: stereo width control, wedge monitor compensation EQ, high and low master EQ, master level control, and dbx limiting. With a Setup Wizard for ease of configuration, full 16 channel level metering, channel grouping, 16 preset locations for future recall of configurations and mixes, and an intuitive yet powerful user interface, PMC16 gives you the power to dial in YOUR mix exactly as YOU want it, in real time.

The dbx 520 will help you expertly tame the excessive sibilance often found in vocals and other high frequency dense material. Based upon the legendary dbx 902, the dbx 520’s unique features make it possible to achieve an exact amount of de-essing regardless of variations in signal levels. The 520 allows you to create brilliant, crisp vocals without sibilance! With its modular 500 Series based design, the dbx 520 examines the differences in dB between the high frequency and full-bandwidth portions of a signal, allowing de-essing of signals which change in level by as much as 60dB. It features a Frequency Control with range from 800Hz to 8kHz, Gain Reduction Metering and a De-essing Amount Range from 0dB to 20dB. Control vocals, drums, percussive instruments and problematic material/reverb combinations with the dbx 520!
