Allen & Heath AB168 Audiorack

AB168 is a portable AudioRack, providing 16 XLR inputs and 8 XLR outputs when connected to a GLD-80 or GLD-112 mixer, or to an AR2412 AudioRack.

Featuring 16 mic preamps with Phantom Power indicators and 8 XLR line outs, AB168 runs on Allen & Heathʼs proprietary dSNAKE protocol.

The AB168 unit connects over a single Cat5 cable to the GLD mixer or to an AR2412 AudioRack via a secure dSNAKE EtherCon port. A second EtherCon port is provided for daisy-chaining to another AB168 box or connection of a ME personal mixing system. AB168 auto updates its firmware to synchronise with the GLD system.

The rackʼs rugged design, including rubber bumpers, renders it highly roadworthy and allows it to be placed on the stage floor during performances. Weighing in at just 4.8kg and featuring a sturdy carry handle, AB168 is also designed for maximum convenience and portability. An optional rack mounting kit is also available.

16-Channel MADI Interface Card

The MY16-MD64 card adds 16 channels of MADI input and output connectivity to Yamaha devices with Mini-YGDAI slots. 4-Channel Acoustic Echo Canceller Card for Yamaha DME64N/24N

The MY4-AEC card provides 4 channels of acoustic echo cancellation for remote conferencing using Yamaha's DME24N and DME64N digital mixing engines. As well as the echo cancellation function, the MY4-AEC card also offers a noise reduction function which removes steady-state background noise such as air conditioning and projector fans etc.
The card also has a feedback suppressor with 42 notch filters per channel to aid the suppression of feedback in PA systems. Any of the 8 internal mic/line inputs of the DME24N can be routed to the MY4-AEC. In the case of the DME64N, any of the MY card slots or CASCADE bus can route to the MY4-AEC. The AES/EBU inputs and outputs (with sample rate conversion) can route to either the MY4-AEC or be used independently in a DME design.
