The AEW-T5400a cardioid condenser wireless handheld transmitter features the Artist Elite® AE5400 large diaphragm true condenser cardioid capsule based on the classic AT4050 studio microphone and provides accurate natural response. The capsule shall include internal shock mounts for low handling noise. An internal capsule 6 dB pad provides additional attenuation for extremely high-SPL sources. An integral two-stage pop filter within the rugged steel headcase protects against "p” pops and other breath plosives. All transmitter setup functions are menu-driven via soft-touch controls. To prevent accidental changes, the controls are covered by the transmitterʼs handle case when not being used. A dual-colour power/mute indicator LED provides visual indication of transmitter status. Operating on two standard AA batteries, the transmitter features high and low-level RF output settings. The low-level setting allows two additional hours of battery life while retaining a strong RF signal link. Each transmitterʼs backlit LCD display presents a great deal of setup and operating information clearly and conveniently including: battery fuel remaining, mute, and operating frequency. A flashing "Lo-Batt” alert visually signals the battery life is almost depleted. Programmable power/mute locks limit the functioning of the transmitterʼs power/mute button as desired for particular users and applications. To match the audio input level to the transmitter, a three-position audio input gain setting selected through the function menu is provided. Four nameable user presets allow for storage and recall of commonly used settings. The rugged ergonomic metal body housing with integral antenna will provide years of dependable operation. Each handheld transmitter includes a heavy-duty Quiet-Flex™ stand clamp and soft protective pouch. PT 4000
UHF bodypack transmitter with magnesium body
30 MHz wide UHF band with up to 1200 selectable frequencies
Backlit display and jog switch for ease of use
Operates for up to 15 hours on dry batteries, 12 hours on optional BP 4000 battery
pack and displays remaining battery life
Optional remote mute switch
The PT 4000 is a professional bodypack transmitter with a rugged die-cast magnesium
body. The 30 MHz wide UHF band provides up to 1200 selectable frequencies and
several preset frequency banks for various countries make it easy to set up a multichannel
system. A backlit display makes it very easy to tune the PT 4000 to the same frequency
as the SR 4000 receiver. A pilot tone system continuously transmits transmitter status
data including MUTE switch position and the remaining battery life to the receiver. Integrated
charging contacts let you charge the optional BP 4000 battery pack without having to
remove it from the transmitter.
An optional remote mute switch allows the user to mute the transmitter without having
to fumble for the on-board mute switch if the transmitter is hidden in the clothes.
