All KRK Rokit Powered Series monitors feature a proprietary signature yellow
woofer made of a woven glass aramid composite that delivers a tight low-end
response and a soft dome tweeter for natural sounding highs. The drivers are
electronically crossed over and are bi-amped for increased efficiency. All of this
is housed in an attractive cabinet with radiused corners that reduce edge diffraction
resulting in better audio imaging. The rear input panel features phone plug and XLR
connectors to accommodate any application.

MYTHO 8 is a two-way reference studio monitor equipped with two separate AB amplifiers - 200 W for the low frequencies and 100 W for the high - unparalleled for low distortion and natural sound. It features a high quality large metal dome tweeter for the best vocal reproduction and a 8” neodymium vented woofer with a large sized 51 mm voice coil that guarantees very high energy for tight and controlled bass reproduction and perfect thermal stability with minimum power compression.

The magnetic circuit features a special air ventilation to reduce air compression, air noises and minimize distortion in large excursion situations. Thanks to the deeper low frequencies reproduced by its 8” woofer, the MYTHO 8 is perfect for medium to large control rooms.
A dedicated high quality DSP is provided on board. The cabinet is made in aluminium, internally braced and reinforced to improve low frequencies behaviour and reduce resonances.

Furthermore, the design of the Twin6 Be permits a high SPL while at the same time offering a stable tonal balance. One of the two 6.5" woofers works in large band (midrange – bass) whereas the other reproduces from 40 to 150Hz. This creates a bass that preserves all the signal dynamics, without any masking effect in the midrange, thereby keeping all its neutrality and transparency. Additional control of the bass register is accomplished by fine-tuning on the control plate on the back of the Twin6 Be in order to obtain a perfect mirror configuration with its mate. The Twin6 Be can be installed vertically or horizontally to respond to the space requirements of each studio.
