SENNHEISER ADN-CU1-EU Digital discussion central unit

The digital discussion central unit ADN CU1 powers and controls up to 40 (depending on cable length) connected delegate and chairperson units. It offers full configuration in a quick and easy way over the menu display in several languages. Alternatively the integrated software package 'Conference Manager' can be used directly on the CU1 by connecting a screen, mouse and keyboard. The intuitive workflow of the conference manager allows a fluent monitoring and control of the conference. With its low-noise fan the central unit can be used directly in the meeting without disturbing it.

Infrared radiators providing wireless transmission of up to seven language channels for persons (e.g., observers) listing to a conference without asking for the floor.

The infrared radiators shall connected to the CS 5 BU through 2 BNC connectors and 50 Ohm coaxial cabling and serial concatenation. It shall transmit a  PPM system modulated time-multiplex outputs of the central unit shall drive an arbitrary number of radiators. The CS 5 IRT1 shall have a radiation angle of +/- 22° and a working distance of 300 meters (with 50% down). The CS 5 IRT2 shall have a radiation angle of +/- 22° and a working distance of 500 meters (with 50% down).

As accessories of the infrared radiators the holding frame needed for mounting it to the side wall or the ceiling shall be included. The transmitter shall have a built in switchable power supply with IEC connector.

AKG Conference System CS 2 is fully modular and therefore highly flexible, allowing users to create a custom system for any conference application. From microphone capsules to power supplies, designers will find exactly the right components for every type of conference system.  Analog control is provided by the Base Station.

• Threefold choice vote function enables the voting just at the press of a Vote key on each unit. The result can be instantly totalized on the Central unit.
• Speeches can be addressed to audience via sound amplification. * The sub audio output is not amplified
