Stinger 8 G2 Active Full-Range Speaker

The Stinger 8 G2 is an active 2-way speaker for a wide range of applications.

The extremely compact lightweight is powered by a B&O ICEpower 50ASX2 Class D power amp with a continuous power rating of 170W. The loadout consists of an 8" woofer with a 1" BMS HF driver. They ensure balanced frequency response and a maximum sound pressure level of 116dB (129dB peak). There is a 2-band EQ for shaping the sound. The connectors are XLR/jack combo connectors and an XLR output.

The sturdy multiplex bass reflex design is easy to carry thanks to the ergonomically milled handle. It has connection points for flyware and mounting. Mounting brackets and a protection cover are available as accessories.

The DR-508A is powered full-range system that uses a new 8” low frequency transducer. The M-34 compression driver handles high frequency reproduction. 

The 1000 W peak power Class D amplifier provides extended bandwith, improved dynamic range and exceptionally low distortion. This makes the DR-508A one of the smallest and most powerful portable cabinets on the market.

Technical Data

The new J series is a technologically advanced range of products that improves on the performance of the previous Jolly line.  The new J series is a competitive, value for money range of speakers.
The range is based on the development of three new high efficiency class-D amplifiers with power specifications of 350 + 100W for the J 15A & J 12A, 200 + 50W for the J 8A and 80 + 40W for the J 5A. 

These amplifiers have been designed \'from the ground up\' in FBT’s R&D laboratories.
The largest amplifier model that equips the J 15A and J 12A has a switch mode power supply as well as a digital signal processor with 4 pre-sets. The J 8A and J 5A amplifiers have toroidal transformer power supplies. The J 8A has a digital signal processor with 2 pre-sets, whilst the J 5A has analog signal processing. The speakers have been completely redesigned, introducing the technological developments of recent years to achieve a far superior efficiency and linearity.

Following from the new J series, FBT bring you the DJ 15A, designed with today’s modern DJ in mind.  The DJ 15A has invaluable features allowing quality audio playback using our revolutionary DSP technology.  This includes 4 presets enabling the DJ to change the sound of their music to suit the environment they play within.

These DSP presets will allow the DJs audience to enjoy improved sound quality and SPL, especially in bass reproduction at high volume.

The DJ 15A also has another useful feature for DJs, including a two channel input mixer allowing the DJ to plug a music source and microphone direct into the speaker, giving separate control over volume for both devices.  You can also daisy chain these speaker together if required.  Ideal for many application of today’s modern DJ.

The D 8A is the active version of the D 8 offering integrated Class-D power amplifiers, an electronic crossover and loudspeaker equalization.

The D 8A is ideal when combined with active subwoofers for the creation of very compact, active 3-way high-powered systems. For the low- and high frequency ranges, 2x 200 W RMS are available. The maximum overall amplifier output comes to 800 W. The frequency-range is 56 Hz - 20 kHz and the max. SPL is 123 dB / 1m)

The Line input is implemented as an XLR/jack combo socket. In addition an XLR microphone input with a separate level control is available. For operation with powered subwoofers, a switchable low-cut filter is provided.

The extensive range of optional accessories allows virtually unlimited use in fixed installations or flown configurations.
