STINGER 12 G3
Engineered for rock-solid reliability day in, day out this passive 2-way loudspeaker is a truly professional performer. With its multi-purpose bass reflex construction it is equally suitable for fullrange, satellite or floor monitor use in live PA systems and permanent installations. The Stinger® 12 G3 boasts a mighty 400 watts RMS power handling and 125 dB maximum sound pressure. It is loaded with a custom designed 12” woofer and BMS compression driver delivering extended low frequency response and smooth, crisp highs. The HF waveguide has been designed using BEM, the numerical modeling of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces floor and ceiling reflections, effectively eliminates side lobes and achieves a controlled uniform coverage pattern. The Stinger® 12 G3 is designed to be a real workhorse throughout. The enclosure is made of rigid birch ply and coated with ultra tough polyurea for extraordinary strength and durability. Sporting a steel front grille, Dual-Tilt pole receptacle, multiple suspension points and ergonomic handles the Stinger® 12 G3 is an attractively priced choice for truly professional sound reinforcement. For low frequencies an Electro-Voice DL12BFH is used. The recently developed Electro-Voice ND2 Neodymium driver is used for the projection of mid and high frequencies. The Constant- Direcctivity HF horn has been integrated into the baffle by CAD methods.Nominal coverage angle of the cabinet is 80°*40°, horizontal*vertical respectively. Power handling of the cabinet is 300W (continuous) and 1200W peak.. Maximum sound pressure level is 129dB, the frequency range of the D12 is 70Hz to 18kHz. The D12 is ideally suited for applications as full-range cabinet or as Mid-Hi cabinet in in highperformance small-format active and passive satellite systems.

First is the DVX3121 high performancelow frequency transducer. EV used advanced computer aided designtechniques to create forced air, directional voice coil cooling for highpower and efficiency. Finite element analysis was used to optimize thesuspension and magnetic structure for long, linear travel to provide lowdistortion and greater LF extension. These features and details, suchas forged magnetic components and special materials, provide reliabilitywith a 500W power rating in a lightweight transducer. Next is theND2, a 2-inch voice coil compression driver based on neodymium motorstructure to allow for maximum output while reducing size and weight toa minimum. Its precision phasing plug and titanium diaphragm providebetter HF performance, while the integral heatsink provides cooling forhigh power output.The high tech enclosure uses injection-molded high-impact polypropylenestructural foam to make the Zx3 incredibly durable. Todayʼs sound reinforcement and public address applications require equipment that guarantee exceptional sound quality for a large variety of different events. Multi-functionality is a must in order to be able to react on-site to varying customer demands. The DYNACORD VL122 2-way fullrange cabinet has been optimized acoustically and mechanically for multi-functional applications. With a variety of mounting accessories and decent cosmetics the VL122 is ideally suited to be used in most demanding applications. The VL122 is manufactured from birch plywood and therefore extremely resistant against abuse on the road. The surface is painted with a black 2-component paint that can easily be renovated if sometimes necessary. For the low frequencies and mid frequencies the rugged DND 12350 Transducer is used. High frequencies are radiated from a rotatable 90°*45° CAD optimized constant directivity horn equipped with an Electro-Voice ND6 1.4” driver. The VL122 can be used in passive fullrange mode and can be switched from the outside to ʽbiampedʼ operation. Linear-Phase FIR factory presets for the IRIS-Net RCM-26 module and factory presets for regular digital speaker controllers, e.g. DSP244 are available. EASE and Ulysses data allow fast and precise simulations.
