TOA PE-304 Pendant Speaker 30W,5′

The PE-64/304 are HIPS resin bass-reflex enclosure 5" (12cm) conetype pendant speakers intended for ceiling suspension installation.
The PE-304 also includes a balanced dome tweeter. They have an outstandingly stylish design that is inspired by the finest lighting fixtures, allowing them to harmoniously blend in with lighting equipment. They are ideally suited for such applications as BGM and announcements at high-ceiling venues such as airports, factories and shopping malls. The speakers are easy to repaint, extending the range of design needs they can meet. A directly attached sturdy suspension cable is extendable up to 5 meters. PE-64 is driven on a high-impedance (100V or 70V) line, and PE-304 is driven on a highand low-impedance(8Ω) line. Input impedance is adjustable with
rotary switch on the upper side of the speaker.

The Control 227C and CT are easy to install and feature a removable multi-pin locking connector, with secure screw-down terminals. This allows the for pre-wiring the input wires for easy clip-on convenience during installation. The optional MTC-200BB6 14 cubic liter (0.5 cubic foot) back can is made of extra-thick 16 guage steel and the top is lined with 1/2" medium density fibreboard.

The clean, contemporary look of the MTC-RG6/8 grille for the Control 227C and CT is designed to suit a variety of settings, offering a simple, elegant appearance that fits into a wide variety of décors.

Most noticeable has always been the high-frequency roll-off that resulted from limited speaker dispersion characteristics. TOA's new ceiling speaker range provides well-balanced audio reproduction without treble attenuation over an expanded listening area thanks to the extra-wide dispersion characteristics that are part of the overall speaker design. Perceived speaker directionality and beaming tendencies are minimized, resulting in a natural, well-balanced sound over a wide area at all levels. Conventional speakers exhibit high frequency roll-off characteristics as the distance between speaker and listener increases. However TOA believes that an ideal ceiling-mounted speaker's response characteristics should include wide dispersion and non-frequency dependent directionality and this new ceiling speaker series proves that.
