AKG CGN 321STS MIC CONDENSER TYPE GOOSENEK 30CM

The CGN321 STS is a heavy duty professional tabletop microphone set with excellent shock absorbing properties. It features a CGN351 condenser gooseneck microphone with a cardioid polar pattern on a slim, 30 cm long gooseneck. This professional microphone is specially designed for inexperienced speakers who talk into the microphone from widely varying angles. The tabletop microphone set provides an extremely rugged switch capable of withstanding more than 25,000 switching cycles. It can be programmed for the following functions: push to talk, push to mute, push on/off, low cut on/off. An LED square clearly indicates the microphoneʼs status. The CGN321 STS comes with a professional, gold plated 3-pin XLR audio output.

Infrared radiators providing wireless transmission of up to seven language channels for persons (e.g., observers) listing to a conference without asking for the floor.

The infrared radiators shall connected to the CS 5 BU through 2 BNC connectors and 50 Ohm coaxial cabling and serial concatenation. It shall transmit a  PPM system modulated time-multiplex outputs of the central unit shall drive an arbitrary number of radiators. The CS 5 IRT1 shall have a radiation angle of +/- 22° and a working distance of 300 meters (with 50% down). The CS 5 IRT2 shall have a radiation angle of +/- 22° and a working distance of 500 meters (with 50% down).

As accessories of the infrared radiators the holding frame needed for mounting it to the side wall or the ceiling shall be included. The transmitter shall have a built in switchable power supply with IEC connector.

Rugged infrared receiver for up to seven selectable channels, for use with headphones, e.g., AKG K 77. Operates for more than 12 hours per battery charge.

The CS 5 IRR7 shall reproduce the floor channel and 6 translated languages. It shall have a 3,5mm stereo jack to connect any stereo headphone, a volume potentiometer and an easy selector switch. It shall have a built in NiMh rechargeable battery to supply the unit for up to 13 hours operation time. The unit shall switch off automatically when loosing the signal to save power. It shall be rechargeable with charging contacts on the housing.

The CS 5 DU is the basic microphone station for use in discussion systems.

Like all other CS 5 microphone stations, the CS 5 DU provides maximum acoustic flexibility. Choose from two goosenecks of different lengths and five microphones with different polar patterns to meet every requirement of any type of conference system.

In addition to the usual PTT key, this microphone station offers two advanced features previously found on more expensive conferencing equipment only: A bank of dip switches allows each headphone output to be assigned independently to either the floor channel or one of three interpreted language channels. The PTT key also provides a simple yes/no voting function.

Gooseneck, capsule and connecting cable are not included.

It shall have a built-in microphone and loudspeaker, which allow the forwarding of the voice of the speaker towards the other units of the system. The CS 5 DU shall be capable for 1 step voting from the unit with the help of the speech button.

The CS 5 DU is suitable for taking over maximum 3 interpreted languages and the room voice as well, which may be selected via a set of DIP switches on the bottom of the unit. The unit shall operate for 2 persons simultaneously, with independent adjustable languages for each of the 2 x 3,5mm stereo jack headphone sockets.
