The D 8A is the active version of the D 8 offering integrated Class-D power amplifiers, an electronic crossover and loudspeaker equalization.
The D 8A is ideal when combined with active subwoofers for the creation of very compact, active 3-way high-powered systems. For the low- and high frequency ranges, 2x 200 W RMS are available. The maximum overall amplifier output comes to 800 W. The frequency-range is 56 Hz - 20 kHz and the max. SPL is 123 dB / 1m)
The Line input is implemented as an XLR/jack combo socket. In addition an XLR microphone input with a separate level control is available. For operation with powered subwoofers, a switchable low-cut filter is provided.
The extensive range of optional accessories allows virtually unlimited use in fixed installations or flown configurations.

This highly professional 2-way active system is designed for absolute, long-term reliability. With its rugged bass reflex housing and finely tuned, user-friendly presets, it is suitable for use as a full-range speaker, satellite or monitor. The Stinger® 28 A G3 is powered by a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with a powerful 500-watt continuous output. Its two specially developed 8" woofers and a BMS tweeter driver achieve a powerful bass response and fresh, natural trebles. The wave guide of the tweeter has been developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of the sound radiation and dispersion. It reduces reflection from floors and ceilings and prevents sidelobe levels, thus achieving controlled and homogeneous dispersion.
LD Systems’ proprietary DynX® DSP technology means that the Stinger® 28 A G3 delivers perfect performance with maximum clarity and power under all conditions. The signal processing of the crossover function and the multi-band limiter achieve an optimal runtime and high freedom from distortion. Designed as an all-around workhorse, the housing of the speaker is made of robust birch plywood. An extremely resilient coating of polyurea offers exceptional robustness and durability. The features include a steel front grille, a dual-tilt stand attachment, flight points and ergonomic handles. The Stinger® 28 A G3 is a good value and attractive solution for professional sound systems, with extensive accessories that support usage on the stage and in fixed installations.

With its multi-purpose bass reflex construction and carefully contoured, user-friendly presets it is equally suitable for fullrange, satellite or floor monitor applications. The Stinger® 8 A G3 is powered by high efficiency Class D amplification with a hefty 300 watts RMS output. It drives a custom designed 8” woofer and BMS compression driver delivering a punchy low end and smooth, crisp highs. The HF waveguide has been designed using BEM, the numerical modeling of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces floor and ceiling reflections, effectively eliminates side lobes and achieves a controlled uniform coverage pattern. The Stinger® 8 A G3 incorporates LD Systemsʼ proprietary DynX® DSP technology to ensure top-level performance with maximum clarity and punch at all times. The Action 8 is a compact 2-way passive full-range loudspeaker that utilizes a 8” low frequency transducer and a full compression driver. The multi-angle cabinet is constructed of Birch plywood protected by an enviormentally friendly ISO-flex black paint finish. A rear located handle and a robust steel grille are provided. A 35 mm tripod socket allows for stand mounting.
