Content | The 7118 is a high quality microphone cable for balanced, low-impedance applications. Spiral copper wrap plus semiconductor shielding reject EMI and RFI and reduce handling noise for clear, quiet signal transfer. For efficient common mode rejection, the pair of finely stranded oxygen-free copper conductors with a cross section area of 0.22 mm² each is twisted. The thick, hard wearing PVC jacket provides strength, flexibility and abrasion resistance in live, studio and home recording environments.
- Fine stranded wire for high-quality signal transmission
- Extremely robust and very thick soft PVC jacket
- 100% shielding due dense copper spiral shielding and semiconductor
- High flexibility makes it easy to reel e.g. excellent for cable drums
Applications
- Stage applications
- Home recording

The PAC50 is a high quality signal and power cable in one jacket. This kind of cable is designed to fulfill all demands when using active loudspeakers. The cable consists of a power cable and a balanced signal cable. A general outer jacket with an O.D. of 14 mm and made of flexible PVC protects each inner cable against abrasion. The inner power cable contains 3 conductors with a section of 1.0 mm², protected by a PVC jacket with an O.D of 7 mm.
The signal section is balanced and contains two twisted inner conductors of 0.125 mm² with an excellent shielding to prevent any influence of hum, noise, radio interference and magnetic fields.
The signal section is also protected by an outer jacket of PVC with an O.D. of 3.5 mm. The PAC50 cable finds its application in mobile systems where power and signal are desired to be in one cable (active speaker systems).
