| Content | D&R's popular AIRENCE-USB broadcast mixing console is updated. In response to customer demand D&R removed the master faders and made the AIRENCE more in line with their other broadcast consoles. This update made the AIRENCE even more failsafe.
The AIRENCE-USB is a digitally controlled reliable analog broadcast console with integrated 4 channel USB sound card and an integrated control section for Play-out systems. With the AIRENCE-USB ON-AIR mixer you can own a modern, split version type of radio production mixer. A smart mixer with an integrated USB based control section. Built with well proven low noise circuitry, this console is the reliable workhorse for the self-op production D.J.
Built in Telephone Hybrids (2x), 4 channels USB and 4 Mic inputs. Ideal for streaming to the web and sending and accepting 4 stereo channels from your Play-out software. A heavy duty (19" rack) RF shielded chassis, that can be used as a dropthrough in your furniture, houses all the vertically mounted input modules.
Extension units with six triple input channels with high end quality Mic inputs on XLR and two stereo line level inputs on Cinch (RCA) connectors can be connected to the main unit. The result is a modern split drop through 12 (or 18/24) fader radio console.

And what's more... no hassle with how do I connect this thing to my AIRMATE-USB/AIRENCE-USB/AIRLAB or AXUM.
No complicated high voltage AC switching with external relays etc. etc.
What you only need is one stereo cable (wired tip/ring) coming from the MIC-ON connector on the back of the AIRMATE/AIRENCE/AIRLAB console that goes directly hardwired to a terminal strip inside the ON-AIR LAMP. How easy is this for a change.
The power adapter will also be directly wired to the terminal strip inside the unit.

MIC, LINE, USB and Internal VoIP
The WEBSTATION mixer has 2 balanced, phantom powered mic inputs with inserts for voice processors. Six stereo line inputs, 3x USB channels and 1x Telephone VOIP channel.
If you want to connect an analog phone line a Cleanfeed output is provided for to connect to an external Hybrid.
Only one physical USB connection is the interface to transfer 3 stereo audio channels + VoIP signal from and to your PC plus all control data from the control section and the software meter application.
The VOIP Channel 6 is also routed to the main USB connector. Talk back to the VOIP channel is by pushing both "Mic CUE" and "VOIP CUE" to make conversation with callers very easy prior to broadcasting.
The Webstation has a very musical 2 band equalizer. High quality low noise mic inputs with built in low cut filters.

All 6 modules have their own page, where you can program Cue reset enabled by Line, Mic, Fader, On etc.
The Mic On busses (for your ON-AIR light) can be enabled by Line or Mic or USB.
A great feature is the ability to program your own switch colours, activate the CRM mute module and program the Studio Remote. Additionally if you want your Phantom power on or off individually programmable per channel this can also easily done.

Despite its tiny footprint, XB-10 is packed with the kinds of specialised broadcast features that normally come at a much higher price. Radio-friendly tools include a telephone communication (telco) channel, mic channel ON switch sensing, stereo channel start/cue outputs for CD deck transport control and automatic muting of speaker outputs. XB-10 features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ with optimised slope for a variety of sources.
Output Limiter
A variable limiter ensures the level does not exceed a pre-defined level. Back panel option switches allow the limiter to be bypassed. A trim pot is used to vary the threshold and an LED on the front panel indicates when the limiter has triggered.
CompACT Compressor
XB-10 features our ComPACT compressor on each of its mic channels. CompACT (Adaptive Compression Technology) is a program-dependent audio leveller. Unlike other compressors, which are effective only at reducing loud sounds, CompACT combines both downward and upward compression with peak limiting. Low level signals are given a gain boost, mid level signals are mildly compressed with a soft knee response, and high level signals are limited. |
