The Alesis V25 is a powerful, intuitive MIDI controller that lets you take command of your music software with a series of pads, knobs, and buttons. With 25 full-size velocity-sensitive keys and Octave Up/Down buttons, you can expand the keyboard to the full melodic range and play bass lines, chords, and melodies. V25 also features four assignable knobs and buttons for manipulating effect plugins and virtual instruments: open and close filters, adjust volume levels, activate effects, tweak parameters, and more. Eight velocity-sensitive backlit pads allow you to launch clips or finger drum with exceptional response, and pitch and modulation wheels expand the expressive capabilities of your performing.

V25 was designed to seamlessly and effortlessly integrate with your music software. A single USB connection to your Mac or PC provides both power and MIDI functionality, allowing you to plug right into your computer and start making music. Edirol announced the PCR-1 at Winter NAMM, a new combo device that integrates a USB bus powered 24-bit/96kHz audio interface into a 25-key MIDI keyboard controller. The PCR-1 measures a mere 1-3/16" thick, weighs under 3 pounds & offers a wide variety of audio & MIDI features.

Edirol has devised a new technology known as "S.L.I.M." (Short-stroke Low-profile Impact Mechanism) which allows a compact MIDI keyboard to maintain reasonable playability.

This 25-Key MIDI Keyboard Controller offers full 128-step velocity sensitivity and the same control map support as its larger PCR siblings. The assignable controls can be assigned to send any MIDI message. Also, like the other PCRs, it offers 16 on-board Memory locations for saving control maps for your favorite software applications.

The audio features include stereo RCA input/outputs as well as a stereo mini headphone connection which doubles as an optical digital S/PDIF Port. The PCR-1 offers support for Mac & PC with WDM, ASIO, & Core Audio drivers.

Impulse is a range of professional USB/MIDI controllers. They each have a precision keyboard and a full control surface powered by a brand new version of Novation's Automap control software - Automap 4 (which makes getting hands-on with your DAW/plug-ins fast and simple).
