The alphaton Direct Injection-Box SM-50 allows direct connection of electric guitars,
electric bass, and electronic music instruments with mixing desks of PA systems
and of recording studios.
The SM-50 reduces the amount of microphones used on stage, thus improving gain
before feedback.
Coloration of sound is avoided. Clean signal without interference from other instruments
eases the job of the recording engineer. The use of a strong aluminium die-cast box allows
trouble-free function for a number of years even under adverse conditions. Double grounding
(hum) can be eliminated by activating the built-in ground-lift switch. Isolation voltage between
input and output is 2500 volts, against ground 1500 volts (with ground-lift switch activated).
The box thus complies with toughest safety standards.

Passive DI box especially designed for guitars.

The PDI09 can be connected between an effect device or amplifier and the mixing console. The PDI09 is not suitable for direct connection to a guitar. Integrated filter circuits simulate the authentic "speaker" sound. Tone can be varied between "Mellow“, "Normal“, or "Bright“.

Technical specifications:

  • Input: 6.3 mm jack with parallel "THRU" socket
  • Output: male XLR transformer balanced
  • Attenuator: (Level switch) 0 dB for line signals, -15 dB for small amps up to 10 w, 30 dB for large amps up to 200 w
  • No battery necessary
Behringer DI-400P High-Performance Passive Direct Injection Box Introducing the Ultra-Compact DI-Boxes from BEHRINGER There are times when you will want to connect certain sound sources straight to other audio gear, be it for a live performance or a studio session. A direct connection between audio equipment can be a challenge though: technical problems crop up that?ll corrupt the signal. The DI400P lets you connect instruments or amplifier outputs. It converts any unbalanced signal to a balanced signal and eliminates unwanted noise. With its high-performance transformer, it also allows you to use very long cables without the loss of high frequencies. This is the sort of medicine that?ll cure headaches in your studio or on stage. With added functionality and enhanced audio performance, the AR-133 has been designed to be more affordable for musicians, studios and PA companies. The unit includes phantom power and battery supplies as standard. Should the phantom power from the console fail or be accidentally switched off, the AR-133 automatically switches over to the internal 9V battery providing uninterrupted use. The unit is housed in a rugged aluminium extrusion case, with robust polyurethane end-cheeks which give the AR-133 a very distinctive look. Input connectors are both 1/4" jack sockets and an XLR socket, the latter meaning that the AR-133 can be used to convert unbalanced signals to a balanced output on XLRs throughout. The arched case allows cables to run back underneath the unit from the end for neat cable management. Input attenuation is 0, -20 or -40dB, making the box suitable for instrument, line or amplifier levels on inputs. On the output side, a ground-lift switch is provided for quick solutions to ground-loop problems. The AR-133 uses an enhanced version of the same audio path as the AR-116, now regarded by many people as a reference standard. The sound quality is legendary, particularly on acoustic and bass guitars. Numerous applications can be satisfied by the AR-133. For example, as well as the traditional guitar use, the AR-133 can be used with keyboards, DJ consoles, amplifier outputs, and other electronic sources. An additional bonus is the ability to use the AR-133 as an active balancing device.
