High Quality Plywood – Weight 120gr/m
These panels are used extensively in the manufacture and repair of vehicles and flight cases, the installation of stagings & disabled access ramps. They are used for any application where a surface is required to be slip-resistant.
Plywood offering these characteristics is available in a wide range of thicknesses and sizes, and we can also offer panels that are cut to size and machined/profiled to your specific requirements, while still keeping a surface that is non-slip.
Plywood with these slip-resistant characteristics leaves the mill with all the edges sealed with an acrylic paint and achieves a performance according to EN 636-3, which confirms it is suitable for exterior use.
If these slip-resistant plywood boards are cut to size, any newly exposed edges must be fully resealed using a suitable exterior paint (e.g. acrylic) – rounding any sharp corners & edges will greatly help in this process, as this will better allow the paint to fully adhere. It is also highly recommended that any holes that are drilled are sealed in a similar manner, in order to allow the boards opportunity to offer the longest service time possible.
High Quality Plywood – Weight 120gr/m
This skid-resistant plywood has a raised pattern consisting of thousands of small raised diamond shapes, which gives it a high degree of anti-skid properties, along with very effectively distributing point loads. The pattern reduces the bearing stress on the face veneer, improving the shear strength of the face veneer, and allowing it to bear heavier point loads.
The small diamond pattern makes the surface slip resistant, but extremely easy to keep clean.
