| Content | The Apart CMX20T 2-way built-in loudspeaker has an exceptional high quality and very good bass response. It can be used as a 16 Ohm or 100 Volt loudspeaker. In 16 Ohm use, you can connect up to 4 loudspeakers in parallel on each channel of a standard 4 Ohm amplifier. For 100 Volt use, the CMX20T is equipped with a high-quality 20 watt 100 Volt transformer with several power tappings.
The loudspeaker has an 8” enforced polypropylen woofer and 1” tweeter. Due to this enforced woofer, the loudspeaker has a very low distortion! It makes the CMX20T very suitable for the distribution of microphone calls and backgroundmusic at a higher volume level.
The housing is made of high quality ABS. The woofer is made out of enforced polypropylen with a rubber edge, what makes it moisture-proof.
The loudspeaker is easy to install, due to its simple, quick mounting system (3 screws which are hidden behind the loudspeaker grill, which gives the loudspeaker a modern and striking design).
The CMX20T is in white color RAL 9010 and is also standard available in black (CMX20T-BL) and silver (CMX20T-SLV). From 12 pieces on, the loudspeakers can be painted optionally in any other RAL colour. (Ref.: PAINT-CM).

Most noticeable has always been the high-frequency roll-off that resulted from limited speaker dispersion characteristics. TOA's new ceiling speaker range provides well-balanced audio reproduction without treble attenuation over an expanded listening area thanks to the extra-wide dispersion characteristics that are part of the overall speaker design. Perceived speaker directionality and beaming tendencies are minimized, resulting in a natural, well-balanced sound over a wide area at all levels. Conventional speakers exhibit high frequency roll-off characteristics as the distance between speaker and listener increases. However TOA believes that an ideal ceiling-mounted speaker's response characteristics should include wide dispersion and non-frequency dependent directionality and this new ceiling speaker series proves that.

Integrated with a speaker unit and panel, the PC-2869 Ceiling Mount Speaker is of all metallic construction and ideal for use in a voice alarm system.
