Archon - A new generation of improved speakers for modern indoor spaces
The Archon series of full-range and bi-amped speaker systems have been designed to provide ample bandwidth and high SPL for an accurate sound reproduction in the most various application projects.
With the Archon series FBT wants to meet today’s expectations of the installed sound market: a new generation of improved speakers responding to high quality sound requirements for modern indoor spaces.
The FBT Archon series lines up three 2-way full range/bi-amp models and three 2-way full range compact models; in addition, two low-profile subwoofers (2x8” and 2x15”) increase the low frequency extension of the desired systems. All Archon speakers are elegantly designed and crafted to meet the most demanding architectural design.
The FBT Archon series has been engineered to fulfill the need of high quality sound in bars, pubs, restaurants, retail shops, clubs, entertainment venues, fitness centers, conference rooms, theatres, educational institutions, houses of worship, museums, exhibition centers, cruise ships, corporate A/V, granting excellent speech intelligibility, wide and precise band coverage, ease of installation thanks to the flexible mounting hardware.

The D 8 is a light-weight, robust 8“/1”, 2-way plastic cabinet for professional sound reinforcement applications. With a variety of suspension accessories and conservative cosmetics, the D 8 is ideally suited to be used in demanding fixed installations.
The cabinet is manufactured from ABS and therefore is extremely resistant against abuse on the road. For low and mid frequencies a DYNACORD DND8200-8 neodymium transducer is used. The Electro-Voice DH3 driver is used for the projection of the high frequencies. The Constant-Directivity HF horn has been integrated into the baffle by CAD methods. The nominal coverage angle of the cabinet is 90°*90°, horizontal*vertical, respectively.
Power handling of the cabinet is 250 W (rated) and 1000W (peak). The maximum sound pressure level is 124 dB, the frequency range of the D 8 is from 65Hz to 20kHz. The D 8 is ideally suited for applications as full-range cabinet or as Mid-Hi cabinet in high-performance small-format active and passive satellite systems.
Every transducer is protected against short-term thermal overload with thermal cutout switches and halogen protectors. In case of a potential thermal overload the power applied to the speakers is reduced to a safe level. The protection exhibits ʽsoftʼ switching characteristics, so no annoying clicks or pops are audible. The circuitry automatically resets after the voice coil temperature has reached a safe value.
Extremely durable acoustic foam mounted to a strong powder-coated steel grille protects the loudspeaker components against any mechanical damage. The trapezoidally shaped enclosure also allows employing the cabinet in monitoring applications. A stable, integrated carrying handle and the integrated stand socket for pole-mount stands allow easy transportation and set-up. A protective cover is available as an optional accessory.

The 1" pure titanium dome tweeter is mounted on a low-diffraction swivel-mounting system enabling the user to direct high frequencies where required without the diffraction distortion inherent in other aimable tweeter designs.
JBL Control 128W at a Glance:
- 30 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range.
- 120W continuous program (60W cont. pink, 240W cont. peak).
- 90 dB sensitivity (1W/1m).
- High-slope crossover network produces natural sound and even coverage.
- Optional MTC-128RIF Rough-In-Frame for new construction installation to wallstuds.

| Installation version with integrated surface mount bracket. The Electro-Voice® ZX1 is the new standard of no compromise audio performance and versatility for compact sound reinforcement. The high-tech enclosure uses injection-molded high-impact polypropylene to make the ZX1 extremely durable. The enclosure geometry has been engineered to provide maximum rigidity and acoustic performance. The velocity compensated port design overcomes the limitation of many small loudspeakers and enables exceptional low frequency response without vent noise.
The ZX1ʼs long excursion, high output 8" woofer with a weatherized treated cone delivers smooth low frequency performance with exceptional reliability. A sophisticated crossover network integrates it with the DH2005, a 1.25” voice coil titanium diaphragm true compression driver for maximum output with extended frequency response. Full-bandwidth overload protection is provided for reliable, long term operation without audible effect.
The horn features 90° x 50° coverage with the important added benefit of rotation, allowing the ZX1 to be oriented either horizontally or vertically for the ultimate in coverage flexibility. The ZX1ʼs molded polymer enclosure is inherently water resistant. The enclosure features an integrated pole mount, a pocket handle, and a wedge-angle design allowing for use as a stage monitor.
