The Action 215 is a 2-way passive full range loudspeaker utilizes two 15” bass loudspeakers for extra low frequency punch and higher SPL. High frequencies are handled by a 1” compression driver with titanium diaphragm. The trapezoidal cabinet is constructed using Birch plywood and protected with a hard-wearing black paint finish. Two bar handles and a steel grille sealed against corrosion using a polyamide powder coat finish are provided. Rigging points provide a safe and simple way to fly the Action 215 cabinets.

Technical Data

With the newly designed D15-3, DYNACORD fulfi lls a longtime customer demand for a light-weight, extremely robust high-performance professional 15" 3-way plastic cabinet for use in professional, portable and fixed install sound reinforcement applications.
With a variety of suspension accessories and conservative cosmetics, the D15-3 is also ideally suited to be used in demanding fi xed installations. The cabinet is manufactured from Polypropylene and therefore is extremely resistant against abuse on the road. For low frequencies a DYNACORD DND 15400 Neodymium cone transducer is used.
The midrange is projected from the ultra-low distortion DYNACORD DND 6120 Neodymium cone transducer with a conical radiation pattern of 120°. The DND 6120 guarantees excellent intelligibility without any necessity of precise aiming. The Electro-Voice DH 3 driver is used for the projection of the high frequencies. The Constant-Direcctivity HF horn has been integrated into the baffl e by CAD methods. The nominal coverage angle of the cabinet is 90°*50°, horizontal*vertical, respectively. Power handling of the cabinet is 500W (continuous), 1000W (program) and 2000W peak. The maximum sound pressure level is 130dB, the frequency range of the D15-3 is 50Hz to 18kHz. The D15-3 is ideally suited for applications as full-range cabinet or as Mid-Hi cabinet in in high-performance small-format active and passive satellite systems.

Can be easily biamped with 400 watts LF and 75 watts HFcontinuous DH73-inch voice coil compression driver on an asymmetrical 75-? x 50-? fully rotatable constant-directivity horn. In factory-delivered position the horn provides a 15-?up/35-? down vertical coverage pattern. The fully rotatable horn means that regardless of cabinet position, pattern control is fully user-determined Five-sided cabinet design allows this main PA system cabinet to easily conform to duties as a floor monitor, as a front-of-house system or to be tucked tightly against a ceiling for low-profile applications. The passive dB500 has many of the same features as the dB500a, including the same rugged enclosure, and advanced drivers. A natural sounding fixed crossover is built-in, and the back panel features 1/4" and Speakon connectors.

The dB500 speaker cabinet features an array of mounting options. Designed with floor monitoring in mind, they are also easily stacked or permanently installed. A 1 3/8" pole receptacle is built in, and 10 reinforced fly points are available.
