Audio-Technica's AT897 is designed for field audio acquisition in film/TV/video production, professional recording, wildlife recording and broadcast applications. It mounts conveniently on a DV camcorder without adding noticeable heft, and remains out of the frame even with compact digital cameras. This high-performance short shotgun offers outstanding long-distance audio pickup due to narrow acceptance angle of line + gradient design. It also features smooth, natural-sounding on-axis audio quality and excellent off-axis rejection of sound arriving from the sides and rear of mic.

For when you need even more advanced recording than R-09's built-in mic
CS-15CS-15 For serious field recording, the optional CS-15 cardioid-type stereo microphone is a great match for the R-09. For portability and convenience, the R-09 supplies the power to the mic. Bundled with the microphone are a desktop stand, a hand-held mount, and a windscreen.
Cardioid-type stereo microphone
Battery operation is also possible when using with a recorder that doesn't supply the power
Ideal combination with the R-09 --- also the UA-4FX and the UA-1EX
Comes with a desktop stand, a hand-held mount (can be attached to the microphone stand) and a windscreen | The R?DE VideoMic is a professional grade shotgun microphone. Based on the
latest ?Film industry? technology, the VideoMic is designed specifically for use with
high quality Digital Video Cameras.
The microphone exhibits low noise and an unusually wide bandwidth for its size. It
is ultra lightweight, yet rugged due to it?s ABS construction. The VideoMic is powered
by a standard 9 V battery and offers a Low Battery LED status indicator and a
switchable high pass filter to reduce unwanted low frequency rumble.
The VideoMic attaches to any Camcorder that has the standard camera-shoe fitting
and utilizes a stereo mini jack for audio output.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Features:
Studio recording quality. Rugged fibre-reinforced ABS construction. 9 V battery operation.
Custom designed integral wind shield. Condenser Microphone. Low noise circuitry. Low
handling noise. Integral camera-shoe mount. Designed & manufactured in Australia.
Full 2 year guarantee.
Operation power:
The VideoMic is designed to operate from a 9 V battery (ANSI:1604A or IEC:6LR61).
The battery is conveniently located within the support arm of the microphone. A fully
removable access cover and a 1-way insertion mechanism ensure ease of loading.
The battery will provide more than 100 hrs. of continuous use due to a low consumption
of only 5.0 mA.
Operation output impedance:
The microphone will operate satisfactorily into a load impedance as low as 1 k?.
If a load below this is used, the output signal level will be reduced.

ProMic Laser is our first ever DSLR on-camera microphone - a shotgun condenser microphone with a precision-tuned capsule for capturing professional-quality audio direct to camera.
With more and more video recording enthusiasts taking an increased interest in the quality of the audio of their videos, ProMic Laser provides the high-quality audio to match the high-definition video capabilities of todayʼs DSLR cameras.
Laser, the first release in the ProMic series, is a truly professional solution. It has a rugged aluminium design and comes with a removable wind shield and a custom shockmount for hot-shoe mounting directly onto a DSLR camera.
Laser is battery-powered using a single AAA battery (not included), which means that the microphone has an increased sensitivity level, and a lower noise floor, but the inclusion of a -10dB Pad allows you to reduce the level of the mic for recording louder sources.
The microphone also features a Bass Cut, which gives you the option of removing unwanted low frequency rumble, such as traffic or noise from the camera itself, and this can be used in tandem with the -10dB Pad.
As with all sE Electronics products, ProMic Laser comes with a three-year free replacement warranty, which means if it lets you down, weʼll simply give you a new one.
ProMic Laser comes with a protective carry bag and a 3.5mm coiled jack-to-jack cable to connect the microphone to your camera. Laser is compatible with the upcoming ProMic accessories series, which includes boom poles and fur windshields. |
