The ES905CL is designed for quality sound reinforcement, professional recording, television and other demanding sound pickup applications. Its rigid-pipe design with ball-in-socket base permits flexible positioning, while its durable metal base mounts to a table, desk or podium with included hardware. The attached wire mesh windscreen with internal pop protection effectively reduces noise from P-pops, wind, and ventilation air currents. The microphone offers unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference thanks to UniGuard® innovations. The ES905CL also offers an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter that reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. The microphone’s low-profile element provides a uniform cardioid polar pattern with a 120º acceptance angle. Power module included.

  • Choice of microphones for every kind of system and room acoustics.
  •  Display and multifunction soft keys for ease of use.
  • Up to 63 language channels independently selectable for two users.
  • 1, 3, 5-way voting/polling function.
  • Dip-switch selectable president and delegate operating modes.

The CS 5 VU provides two operating modes, reducing the number of different components needed for a conference system.

In a small discussion system with CS 5 DU microphone stations, the chairperson would typically use a CS 5 VU. In President mode, it provides a priority function and allows the user to start votes or polls. The display will then indicate the time left for voting and the results.

In a larger conference system, the CS 5 VU can be used both by delegates and by the president. In delegate mode, it provides all voting and language selection functions independently for two delegates. A bank of dip switches allows the CS 5 VU to be set to President mode with priority and 1, 3, or 5-way voting/polling functions. In computer-controlled conference systems, chip-card identification is available as an option.

Gooseneck, capsule and connecting cable are not included.

The unit shall act as chairman unit or normal delegate unit, selectable by a dipswitch on the bottom of the housing. It shall have a built-in microphone and loudspeaker, which allow the forwarding of the voice of the speaker towards the other units of the system. The chairman shall always be able to start 1,3 and 5 step voting from the unit and monitor the results on the unitʼs  display. Priority calls shall also be possible from his unit.

The CS 5 VU is suitable for taking over maximum 63 interpreted languages and the room voice as well, which may be listened to through the headset that is connected to the device. A chip card reader is also included in the unit, with the aid of which it is possible to identify the user of the device in the case of a computer controlled conference.

The backlit graphic LC display facilitates using the device and displays its current status and the result of the vote. The unit shall operate for 2 persons simultaneously, with independent adjustable languages for each of the 2 x 3,5mm stereo jack headphone sockets.

Flush mounting frame for permanent installation of the AKG conference microphone units

AKG Conference System CS 2 is fully modular and therefore highly flexible, allowing users to create a custom system for any conference application. From microphone capsules to power supplies, designers will find exactly the right components for every type of conference system.  Analog control is provided by the Base Station.

  • Base Station for up to 200 Microphone Stations
  • Intuitive controls
  • Superior audio quality
  • Voice activation and NOM limitation
  • Standard ins and outs for external equipment
The CS 2 Base Station controls up to 200 Microphone Stations and provides automatic NOM (Number of Open Microphones) attenuation. System gain will decrease by approx. 3 dB every time the number of open microphone doubles. The result is a substantially lower risk of feedback even if the number of open microphones varies constantly. A selectable Voice Activation function turns the microphones on automatically as soon as they are talked into. The NOM Limitation function allows the number of simultaneously open microphones to be limited to one, two, three, four, or five. This function can be locally disabled on each Microphone Station so a specific microphone, e.g., one mounted on a lectern, will come on every time, no matter how many mics may be open already.
