This long-standing favorite now incorporates a cardioid polar pattern and has been named the Beta 87C TM. Developed in response to professional demands associated with the use of personal monitoring devices like the Shure PSM ? Series, Shure's new Beta 87C premium vocal microphone delivers studio-grade performance and a smooth, extended high-end frequency response in a cardioid condenser design. The uniform cardioid polar pattern of the Beta 87C enables users to effectively reject ambient noise arriving at the rear of the microphone, an attribute that will be especially appealing to users of personal monitors and others who frequently experience undesirable sounds bleeding into their mixes. Other features include:
  • Smooth, wide frequency response with slight presence rise
  • Uniform cardioid polar pattern for maximum isolation
  • Minimal off-axis tone coloration
  • Low-frequency roll-off compensates for proximity effect
  • Three-stage pop filter minimizes breath pop and noise
  • Break-resistant stand adapter
  • Frequency response: 50 to 20,000 Hz

Made in Germany

Like all members of the M series, the M 88 TG is handcrafted in Germany. The materials and the precise craftsmanship that go into the microphone ultimately create a world-class product, a level of quality that turns an ordinary microphone purchase into a long-term investment.

Perfect for heavy bass Sources
The M 88 TG excels on the kick drum, saxophone and percussions, the result of a balanced sound profile and deep bass tones. It is a must-have for every microphone collection. And why shouldn’t it be when you consider its features? It is both insensitive to high sound pressure levels and feedback resistant thanks to its nearly perfect hypercardioid!
Flexible tool iN The studio

The M 88 TG excels in the studio with the help of its multifaceted flexibility. No matter whether the job involves vocals, horns, guitar amplifiers or drums – the microphone is the perfect choice for the widest range of sources. It is all the result of its exceptionally broad frequency response and rich sound.

  • Supercardioid Polar Pattern
  • Laminated Varimotion Diaphragm
  • Integrated 80 Hz High-Pass Filter
  • Integrated Hum-Compensating Coil
  • WARRANTY FROM THE OFFICIAL GREEK AKG DISTRIBUTOR
The AKG D7 is a reference handheld dynamic vocal microphone designed to capture vocals and instruments with condenser-like sound for artists and audio engineers in clubs, concert venues, and houses of worship. The laminated dual-layer Varimotion diaphragm exhibits a supercardioid polar pattern for excellent off-axis rejection of audio across the frequency spectrum. This allows high gain before feedback and reduced stage bleed through the mic. Handling noise is minimized by the mechano-pneumatic capsule suspension and an integrated 80 Hz high-pass filter. Thanks to a 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a maximum SPL of 147 dB, the D7 delivers detailed sound even on the loudest sources. A hum-compensating coil is incorporated to help reduce interference from electrical devices and to ensure that your captured sound comes through with minimal noise. In addition, the heavy-duty die-cast chassis with a dent-resistant grille is built rugged to withstand the rigors of daily use. An XLR connector utilizing gold-plated pins ensures signal transfer with maximum conductivity. A padded zip case, SA 61 stand adapter, and a replacement inner windscreen are included. Dual-Thickness Varimotion Diaphragm Provides a subtle and open sound in all frequency ranges Feedback Suppression The laminate diaphragm material damps critical resonance peaks Integrated Hum-Compensating Coil Provides a crisp and a cleaner sound Precision Metal Dust Filter Protects the capsule from sound-changing pollution Mechano-Pneumatic Suspension Effectively eliminates unwanted handling noises Microphone
