One of the new stars of the Artist Series remake, the ATM450 cardioid condenser offers an innovative side-address stick design for endless placement options and minimal obstructions. The microphone is equipped with an integral 80 Hz hi-pass filter that provides easy switching from a flat frequency response to a low-end roll-off. The ATM450 also features a switchable 10 dB pad that lowers the microphone’s sensitivity, providing higher SPL capability for flexible use with a wide range of performers and system configurations. The microphone’s extended flat frequency response makes it ideal for high SPLs as well as for live and amplified acoustic instruments. Includes a professional isolation clamp to provide secure mounting, versatile positioning and effective dampening of unwanted mechanical noise.

  • Unique side-address stick design maximizes placement options with minimal obstructions
  • Uncompromising sound quality for overheads, percussion, acoustic guitar, strings and other acoustic instruments
  • Integral 80 Hz HPF switch and 10 dB pad
  • Durable performance for professional applications
  • Cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of desired sound source

The DMK57-52 Drum Mic Kit is a conveniently packaged selection of microphones and mounts, designed to offer a complete core package of microphones for recording and performing drummers at a great price. The Drum Mic Kit includes three SM57 microphones, one Beta 52 microphone, three A56D drum-mounting systems, and a lightweight and durable carrying case.

  • The industry standard for snare drum, and a reliable and high-performing choice for toms, Shure's cardioid dynamic SM57 microphone features a contoured frequency response that cuts through the mix with exceptional impact, while reproducing sound accurately.

  • Perfect for the kick drum, the supercardioid Beta 52? derives its low-end punch and sonic presence from a carefully tailored frequency response. Equipped with its own pneumatic shock mount, the Beta 52 is additionally designed with an integral locking stand mount for quick-and-easy set up.

  • A key element of the kit, Shure's A56D universal drum mounting system can be used to position microphones virtually anywhere -- on drum rims, microphone stands, even cymbal stands. Designed with captive parts to prevent the loss of individual pieces, the A56D is small, secure, and can be used with any standard microphone, making it a great tool for both stage and studio environments.

Excellent for acoustic and electric instruments as well as for vocals, the extremely versatile Beta 57A dynamic microphone provides optimal warmth and presence. The Beta 57A maintains a true supercardioid pattern throughout its frequency range. This insures high gain before feedback, maximum isolation from other sound sources, and minimum off-axis tone coloration. A completely new grille design lets you take better advantage of proximity effect. The Beta 57A is an exceptionally versatile microphone. Typical applications include drums, guitar amplifiers, brass, woodwinds and vocals.
    • Tailored frequency response provides drums, guitars, vocals, and horns with studio quality sound
    • Uniform supercardioid pattern for high gain-before-feedback and superior rejection of off-axis sound
    • Hardened steel mesh grille that facilitates use of proximity effect and resists wear and abuse
    • Neodymium magnet for high signal-to-noise ratio output
    • Advanced pneumatic shock mount system that minimizes transmission of mechanical noise and vibration
    • Frequency response: 50 to 16,000 Hz
