Equipped with Audio-Technica's UniLine® line-cardioid element with a tightly focused 90º acceptance angle, the U853AU features UniGuard® innovations that offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference. The battery- or phantom-powered microphone accepts interchangeable elements, available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional and UniLine® line cardioid polar patterns. Elegant gooseneck module with heavy, shock mounted floor stand in matte gray finish for use with all Discreet Acoustics Capsule Modules. Integrated LED ring status indicator. Suited for stand-alone use on stage or in front of a lectern. Two integrated flexible gooseneck sections allow optimum alignment with talkers of different heights or positions. A supplied screw-on extension tube can be used to place the microphone higher for tall talkers. The supplied 10 m (33 ft.) cable with XLR phantom power adapter is long enough to reach the edge of most stages with no extension cable. For use as a lectern microphone in worship centers, halls etc.

The CMX200 is a 360° revolving gooseneck microphone, designed to be used for conferences, sound reinforcements, translations and studio applications. It has a high sensitive condenser element with a unidirectional cardioid polar pattern which ensures an excellent sound quality and reduces the feedback to a strict minimum, even when exposed to vigorous, hard sound.
Thanks to its flat frequency characteristic, the CMX200 ensures a permanent high-fidelity sound, true to the userʼs voice and intonation. The dark grey color and slimline design permit a discreet blending with every possible interior or background.

The new CHM 99 Condenser Hanging Microphone provides both ease of use and a high level of functionality. There is hardly any more affordable and simpler solution for recording choirs at worship centers. Suspended from the ceiling or a beam, the hanging microphone is aligned and then fixed in the correct position. Now use the spring steel clamp to adjust the correct angle, and off you go!
The CHM 99 is available in white or black.
XY stereo recording
Using two CHM 99 hanging microphones in an XY configuration (coincident pair) is a good way to make stereo recordings, particularly of choirs. However, sound source locations are defined only by intensity differences. Adjusting the angle between the microphones determines the width and depth of the stereo image.
ORTF stereo recording
Developed by the French Broadcasting Authority, this technique differs from the XY technique by recording not only intensity differences, but also delay differences. The capsules are aligned at an angle of precisely 110° and 170 mm / 6.7 in. apart.
