The DV-1 is designed to work alongside modern digital vinyl systems like Serato ScratchLive and Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2. Because these systems rely on more traditional devices (like turntables or CD players) for much of their functionality, modern DVS DJs often miss out on many of the additional features these great programs offer.
Enter the DV-1, a controller designed to give you the freedom to use both digital vinyl and traditional gear, while giving you access to advanced software features such as looping, hotcues, effects, samples, and much more. As a single controller, the DV-1 can be used to access advanced features for up to four software decks. Or if you prefer discreet controls, multiple DV-1 modules can be used simultaneously.
But hey, what about those extra decks in DJ apps that typically don't get used because you didn't carry an extra pair of turntables to your gig? Put a PL-1 Platter module next to that DV-1 and you have the perfect "fill in" deck. This combination provides all of the DV-1 features you love, adds platter and pitch control, plus a whole lot more. And if you like, these two modules can easily control all four decks, with buttons and knobs left over (we're sure you'll find a use for them!).
The DV-1 is the ideal size to sit next to a mixer or turntable, and the rugged build quality and long life tactile switches mean you'll have this workhorse for a long, long time.

With the 16 RGB, velocity-sensitive drum pads you can trigger powerful modes as Hot Cue, Loop Roll, Sampler, Slicer, Flip* and Cue & Slicer Loop modes.
Improve your finger drumming skills in the touch-sensitive Sampler mode, which determines the volume by how hard you trigger a pad.
The multi-coloured, backlit LED pads give you instant feedback about the active mode and reflect the colour-coded cue points in the software.

Slip & Loop
With SLIP mode activated, the playing track can be manipulated with loops or scratches without interrupting the flow of the music. The track position continues in the background, jumping to its current position once the manipulation is over. You can also set perfect auto loops with the push of a button in the dedicated LOOP section. The new LOOP length LED bar conveniently shows the current beat length which can be easily selected via an encoder.

With the unparalleled Macro FX function it is possible to creatively combine classic filters with an additionally assignable effect per channel, allowing you to create dramatic build-ups, smooth breaks or effect-loaded transitions using only one control knob.
Harmonic Mixing - Music is the key
With the new Harmonic Mixing function, you can now synchronize the key of different tracks at the push of a button. MIXON 4 also offers extensive controls to adjust key & pitch in real time.
Large aluminum jogs with led feedback
MIXON 4ʼs large jog wheels have a touch-sensitive aluminum surface for tactile control, while the virtual needle illumination informs you about the playhead position and remaining track length.

This portable unit inherits the club-style layout and popular features of the DDJ-1000, including Color On Jog Displays, and packs it all into a lighter body.
