Behringer HA-4700 Professional High-Power 4-Channel Headphones Amplifier System

The 4-channel BEHRINGER HA4700 features superior performance, routing and mixing functions to accommodate the most discerning set of ears. The HA4700 offers 4 high-power amplifiers that can drive loads down to 8 Ohms. Each amplifier features its own two-band EQ, 8-digit LED output meter, left and right Mute switches, a ST./2-CH switch to toggle between stereo or double mono, and a 1/4" stereo AUX input to mix in any instrument or sound source. The front panel gives you one Phones Out 1/4" jack per channel. A Main section features a 5-segment LED output meter, Direct In 1/4" jack and Master Level dial.
Connections
On the back panel you’ll find two additional ¼ " outputs per channel. That means up to 12 pairs of headphones can listen to 4 separate mixes at once. The back panel also features stereo ¼ " and XLR Inputs and Outputs, so you can connect multiple HA4700 units for even greater listening capacity. Meanwhile, the HA4700‘s ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers deliver the audiophile-grade audio performance.

With its completely analog design, great care was also taken with amPlug's gain circuitry. The 'AC30' uses two natural-sounding gain stages to reproduce the distinctive AC30 tone. 'Classic Rock' uses four classical gain circuits to deliver that great sound. 'Metal' uses two stages of ultra-high gain plus a mid-cut circuit, giving you modern metal high-gain sound anywhere and anytime. Even the circuit response of the original amp is simulated completely. HeadAMP - Four Output Stereo Headphone Amp Overview
Most home recordings involve from one to four people, any or all of whom are
going to need headphone monitoring. The monitor amp would be connected
to the tape deck?s headphone output or a mixer output so that the performers
can hear themselves and each other. Of course the same application can apply
to band rehearsals and even home entertainment. HeadAMP provides amplification
and individual volume control for up to 4 headsets. It can be driven by either line-
level or headphone amplifier signals (mono or stereo).
