Content | The ULTRA-DI DI20 is an innovative active 2-channel DI-box/splitter that takes the signal directly from an unbalanced high-impedance output—like an electric guitar—and feeds it directly into a mixing console or recorder. It is ideally suited to augment the traveling gear of musicians (especially guitar/bass players) as well as live/studio/broadcast engineers, installation contractors and studios/live event engineers. The DI20 converts 2 separate unbalanced 1/4" jack inputs into 2 balanced XLR outputs. There is a 2-channel/link mode for flexible usage as mono, 2-channel or splitter box. In link mode, channel 1 can be split up into 2 balanced XLR connectors plus 1 unbalanced 1/4" jack connector. Switchable input attenuation in 3 ranges allows input levels of up to +48 dBu, while a ground lift switch eliminates typical ground loop problems. It operates either by using a 9 V battery or by using 48 V phantom power. The whole package is enclosed in an ultra compact, road-suitable and extremely rugged housing.

You're serious about getting rid of all that excess noise on stage, but you've got so many line instruments you don't know where to start. The ADB-4 from Stewart can take care of all your high impedance problems. The ADB-4 is 4 active direct boxes, all in a module that only takes up half a space on your keyboard rack. It's a rugged, durable piece of equipment that packs a lot of DI power.

DOD AC 275 Active Direct Box with Switchable Ground Lift and Attenuator-2nd Hand- The AC 275 is an active, phantom powered direct box. Unlike a passive DI where the frequency response of the signal can be altered depending on the connected impedance, an active DI buffers the input signal with an amplifier. This assures that the sound source will reach the mixer balanced and noise-free. Housed in a cast alloy chassis, the AC 275 supplies two, high impedance, unbalanced 1/4" jacks and one low impedance balanced XLR jack. It operates with battery or phantom power. Key Features | ? | Active direct box | ? | Allows a hi impedance unbalanced source to directly feed a low impedance balanced input | ? | Flat frequency response | ? | Connects guitar pickups, microphones or electric instruments to a recording or P.A. console without audio quality loss | ? | Internal pad for speaker level input | ? | Operates with battery or phantom power | ? | Ground lift switch eliminates typical ground loop problems | ? | Rugged, road-proof cast alloy chassis |

Phantom or battery powered in a rugged steel chassis, with separate Speaker Level input connector The ARX DI-PLUS represents another major step forward in active direct boxes. Packaged in a single channel stand-alone format, the DI-PLUS represents a fresh look at active D.I. concepts. Precision engineered Ultra quiet, ultra clean circuitry delivers maximum headroom whatever the signal. Premium grade components, plus an all-steel chassis gives excellent hum and noise specifications and superb audio quality in a tough, roadworthy package. Level control The DI-PLUS features a Normal gain high impedance unbalanced input on the front panel, running to a balanced XLR output on the rear. There is also a separate -40dB Speaker Level input for signal coming from the External (auxiliary) speaker output of an amplifier. A a global Pad switch drops both the normal input and the speaker input by a further 20dB, making it suitable for all applications, from the softest keyboard to the hottest broadcast levels. Battery compartment The revolutionary simple 'clamshell' action of the DI-PLUS battery compartment makes battery changing extremely easy, even on the darkest stages. A 9v alkaline battery snaps into a PCB mounted battery holder for fast, secure location. No fragile battery clip leads to break, no tools required, no screws to lose. Production crew heaven! Automatic Phantom switching The DI-PLUS will automatically switch itself to the console's own Phantom Power, if available, and an LED will indicate this mode. Turn the Phantom Power off and it will instantly revert back to battery mode. Rugged all-steel case A lot of direct boxes are fitted into brittle cast alloy cases. Not this one! The tough all-steel inner and outer chassis of the DI-PLUS provide excellent RF/EMF shielding while making it a sturdy, heavy duty unit that is hard to dislodge, and hard to leave behind. Rear panel showing XLR connector, ground lift switch, and captive screw for opening up the unit for battery changing Whether you're a Studio or Live Sound engineer, installation contractor, or broadcast engineer, you want all the dynamics and clarity of the original sound source transferred to the mixing console. The ARX DI-PLUS provides a rugged, no-compromise solution to all direct injection and signal balancing requirements. Palmer PAN 03 19" DI Box 4-Channel active
Active 4-channel DI box. Each channel has a jack input with a parallel output for passing through the signal. An attenuation switch (-30 dB) allows either a line or loudspeaker signal to be connected.Active 4 x DI box, 19" format. Technical specitications identicl to the PAN-02, however, the PAN-03 is built for mains operation. All connections and switches are located on the front panel, an additional parallel XLR output is located in back. 19 inch rack-mount format, 1 rack space, 90 mm front to back.

| Standard active DI box. Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance ( 1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 dB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation. Metal case 110 x 73 x 42 mm. |
