Weight: 40 g | Palmer Monicon, and the volume is right!
With Palmer Monicon, your monitor volume is always under control. The passive mini-mixer with the oversized control is inserted between the stereo output of the notebook, PC or interface and an active monitor system and thus permits convenient and precise volume control of the monitors from the workstation. The passive circuitry with only a few components has absolutely no affect on the sound. Mute and mono buttons make it possible to mute the outputs and merge the stereo output signal into a mono master signal.
The inputs and outputs of the controller are equipped with XLR connectors and the 3.5mm stereo TRS sockets usually found on computers. Combo input sockets also permit connection with 6.3 mm TRS plugs. Thus the Palmer Monicon is compatible with both professional and consumer equipment. Genuine wood sides make the practical studio tool in its massive powder-coated sheet steel housing an elegant looking "little helper" that is a typical Palmer product.

The compact HX-3 Headphone Distribution Amplifier is the perfect accessory to quickly provide three high-performance stereo headphone feeds with individual level controls from line-level sources. The HX-3 can produce very high headphone levels with extremely low noise and distortion.
HX-3 Key Features
Great for radio, television, film, and music production applications, the battery-powered HX-3 accepts balanced XLR line-level inputs or unbalanced 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo inputs. Its 1/4-inch loop-out can connect multiple HX-3's for additional headphone outputs. Headphones are connected to panel-mounted 1/4-inch stereo connectors.
The HX-3 has a durable aluminum chassis to withstand the punishment of field and studio environments. The unit is powered by inexpensive batteries (two-AA) or external 5-18 VDC.
The HX-3 can add headphone outputs to the 552, 302, MixPre-D, MM-1, and USBPre-2.
HX-3 Key Features List - Three isolated headphone outputs with individual volume controls.
- 125 dB dynamic range with flat frequency response.
- Durable 1/4-inch connectors, panel mounted for strength.
- Stereo or mono monitoring.
- Peak LED indicates headphone overload.
- Two balanced XLR line level inputs or unbalanced 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo inputs.
- Loop Output to connect additional HX-3's in series.
- All-metal connectors solidly mounted to the chassis for durability and RF immunity.
- Free from "Pin-1" grounding problems.
- Internal battery-power for up to 18 hours from two AA alkaline batteries.
- Chassis-isolated 5 to 18 VDC input for easy external DC powering.
- Power LED indicates low battery power.
- High strength, extruded aluminum chassis with protective metal end panels.

MyMONITOR - Personal Headphone Monitor Mixer Overview
Problem: A performer needs to hear him/herself through headphones exclusively or mixed
with the output of a mixer, CD player, tape deck, or other stereo line level source. Only the
mic signal, however, should be going to the main mixer.
Solution: Connect MyMONITOR between the mic and line source, and the mixer. The Mic
and line Monitor levels can then be adjusted for mix and volume through the headphones.
Only the mic signal will go to the board. And since MyMONITOR can be AC or battery powered,
the unit can be used on a large stage or wherever there is no AC outlet nearby. Dynamic or
condenser mics can be used since phantom power would come through the Mic Thru jack from
the mixer or other source.
MyMONITOR - Personal Headphone Monitor Mixer Specifications:
Signal To Noise Ratio 90dB
Gain 15dB (1/4 in), 50dB (XLR)
Maximum Input Level -20dB mic, 40dB Monitor
Output Impedance 10 ohms
Power Requirements 12V DC (Adapter included) or one 9V battery
Phantom Power ON/OFF switch
Power LED indicator
Dimensions 4.5x2.75x1.5 inches (112mm x 72mm x 40mm)
