The CXU features 5 separate Wolfson WM8740 DACs and our proprietary ATF audio upsampling (more info on that genius tech here). Through these, all your inputs get upsampled to 24-bit/192kHz hi-res quality, meaning all your audio has even more acute detail and warm depth. You’ll be able to enjoy musical nuances that you’ve never heard before in tracks and films that you’ve heard a thousand times. A dedicated 2-channel analogue stereo output also guarantees the best possible stereo sound, and Pure Audio mode allows shut down of all video processing to prevent any audio signal interference resulting in a true hi-fi performance when it’s needed.
The CXU uses DARBEE Visual Presence technology to deliver stunning video playback; it provides greater clarity and increases the perception of depth resulting in a more dynamic, lifelike experience. Processing is adjustable, allowing you to customise the visual enhancement to suit your needs. And for ultimate flexibility, you can set your preferred DARBEE mode individually for each of the different video inputs. To make the most of the powerful video processing, 4k upsampling and 2D to 3D scaling from all video sources are also included, so you can enjoy a cinema quality ‘3D’ experience, whatever the source.

| The Denon Professional DN-500BD Blu-ray disc player is a compact, high performance unit that handles all popular optical video playback formats for unrivaled capability from a single disc playback device.
The DN-500BD offers a tremendous amount of performance and flexibility in a space-saving single rack unit (1RU) chassis. It provides the wide range of connection and control capabilities that are essential to the professional user, making it ideal for use in corporate A/V, education, theaters, house of worship, and more. These include RS-232C and IP controllability and XLR balanced audio outputs. The DN-500BD also has discrete 7.1 channel analog outputs for simple connection to powered speakers or signal management devices.
The Denon Professional DN-500BD will play virtually every Blu-ray, DVD, and audio CD format, making it easy to utilize multiple disc formats within a system. Supported formats include BD-Video, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, DVD+R, DVD+RW (Video mode, AVCHD format), DVD-R, DVD-RW (Video mode, AVCHD format) and Audio CD (CD-R, CD-RW). Using the built-in LAN port, users may optionally access additional content via BD Live. For even more versatility, a front-loading USB slot delivers access to MP3, WAV, FLAC, MP4, WMV, JPG, PNG, GIF files, and more.
