With the launch of the DALI OBERON loudspeaker series, we have picked the best elements from our current speakers and brought them together in a series that delivers on audio quality, looks and versatility. As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. The CM8 is an elegantly proportioned, slimmed down version of the award-winning CM9. A true three-way loudspeaker that will appeal to discerning customers who demand the very best sound quality, but have limited space in which to achieve it.
Like all the models in the CM Series, the CM8 uses crossovers of remarkable simplicity and quality, so what you hear is that much closer to the sound of the original recording. In its functional perfection and understated elegance, itʼs nothing less than a masterpiece. Pure and simple.
All CM Series speakers come with chrome driver trims. Grilles attach magnetically, so there are no unsightly grille-mounting features to spoil the clean lines of the speakerʼs façade. For the finish, you can choose either one of two real-wood veneers in Rosenut or Wengé, the highly polished gloss black or the new stylish white.

If itʼs hard to put the sound of the CM9 into words, thatʼs just as well. This top-of-the-range floorstanding speaker will fill even the largest domestic spaces with music so richly detailed, and so startlingly lifelike, that it will leave you speechless.
The three-way CM9 delivers truly commanding bass with the aid of twin 165mm paper/Kevlar® cone drive units. An FST® driver, with its characteristic compression surround supporting the outer edge of the distinctive Kevlar® cone, is specially developed for outstanding midrange performance. The CM9ʼs Nautilus™ tube-loaded aluminium dome tweeter keeps high frequencies crisp and sharp all the way up to 50kHz and beyond.
The quality of CM Series drive units has made it possible to use minimalist crossovers throughout the whole range. The resulting gentle transition between drivers avoids the unnaturally rapid changes in dispersion that bedevil more complex designs, while the high quality components, carefully chosen after exhaustive listening tests, ensure that as little as possible gets between you and the sound of the original recording.
