The ND44 Dynamic Tight Cardioid Instrument Microphone from Electro-Voice is a high-performance, large-diaphragm instrument microphone with a tight cardioid polar pattern. It can be used in various environments to capture audio for drums, and other rhythm section instruments in studio, live sound, and rehearsal applications.

The microphone offers excellent isolation from other nearby instruments and has an 80 Hz to 16.5 kHz frequency response. The ND44 capsule is tuned to deliver an aggressive and punctuated sound and requires no additional power to operate. In addition, the microphone features a pivoting head and drum rim clamp that makes mic placement easy and precise. It is built with a 3-pin XLR connector.
