The small Genelec 8020C has been designed for monitoring in difficult listening environments, particularly those compromised by lack of space.

However, size is no handicap to performance as the 8020C two-way active monitoring system incorporates Genelec’s acoustic design innovations to minimise all forms of distortion.

Our Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) feature, reduces power consumption to less than 0.5 watts by automatically switching the active monitor to standby, when no audio signal has been detected for some time. When it receives an audio signal again, the loudspeaker turns back on. ISS is fully compliant with the latest EU requirements and the ErP 2013 Directive for electronic devices.

Each monitor features a 105 mm (4 inch) bass driver along with a 19 mm (3/4 inch) tweeter loaded into a new advanced Genelec Directivity Controlled Waveguide (DCWTM). The free field frequency response is 66 Hz to 20 kHz (± 2.5 dB). Maximum peak SPL output per pair with music material is 105 dB at 1 m. Bass and treble are each powered by 20 watt amplifiers.

8020C can be combined with the 7050B Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSETM) subwoofer to provide a powerful, bass-managed and wide bandwidth surround sound monitoring system.

The 8020C has a die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDETM), which features relatively large internal volumes; softly curved edges and outstanding mechanical strength.

As a result, the imaging accuracy and low frequency extension with such a compact enclosure are truly astounding.

The 8020C also incorporates the advanced Directivity Control Waveguide (DCWTM), which provides an amazingly smooth on and off axis response; while the long, curved reflex port ends in a wide flare for excellent bass articulation.

The Genelec 8130A Digital Monitoring System has a 192 kHz/24 bit digital audio interface.
Due to its compact size, integrated construction, excellent dispersion and precise stereo
imaging, the 8130A is ideal for near field monitoring, mobile vans, digital audio workstations,
broadcast and TV control rooms, surround sound systems, home studios, multimedia
applications and also for use with computer soundcards. The Directivity Control Waveguide?
(DCW?) technology provides excellent frequency balance even in difficult acoustic
environments.
The integrated design allows the amplifiers and the drivers to be calibrated as a single unit,
eliminating the effects of component tolerances and ensuring consistent quality.
The all-aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure? (MDE?) and advanced Directivity Control
Waveguide? (DCW?) technologies are carefully matched with advanced amplifier and electronics
circuitry. The low frequency response extends down to 55 Hz (-3 dB) while distortion is extremely
low due to a uniquely new rear reflex port design.
The 8130A has been specially designed to have a sufficient LF extension for most situations.
However if greater SPL's and a lower cutoff frequency are required, it can be complemented
with Genelec 7050B subwoofer.
The 8130A is very easy to set up and use, the only connections required are the mains supply
and the input signal. The female XLR input connector can be fed with either AES/EBU formatted
digital signal or analog line level audio signal. The Genelec 8130A automatically detects analog or
digital signals and directs them to the correct signal paths.

MYTHO 6 is a two-way reference studio monitor that features a high quality large metal dome tweeter for the best vocal reproduction and a 6” neodymium vented woofer with a large sized 51 mm voice coil that guarantees very high energy for tight and controlled bass reproduction and perfect thermal stability with minimum power compression.

The magnetic circuit features a special air ventilation to reduce air compression, air noises and minimize distortion in large excursion situations. The MYTHO 6 is equipped with two separate amplifiers: 200 W for the low frequencies and 100 W for the high. The design is a classic AB circuit, unparalleled for low distortion and natural sound. The signal processing is executed from a dedicated high quality DSP processing. It features a solid aluminium cabinet internally braced and reinforced to improve low frequencies behaviour and reduce resonances.
