Drive Belts are used on all Pro-Ject turntables as the method by which the turntable platter rotates. In many cases the belt turns a sub-platter, which sits underneath the main platter - like with the multi-award winning Debut record player. However, there are also other turntables that use a belt which reaches around the perimeter of the main platter itself - avoiding the need for a sub-platter. All Pro-Ject drive belts are made of the highest quality materials, and are optimised to work with certain turntables from the Pro-Ject range.
To extend the life of your drive belt, avoid touching it with your hands as much as possible. Once mounted, use the Speed Key provided with Pro-Ject turntables to change the rung of the pulley.

Featuring dual mono design, the Verto provides discrete circuitry for each channel, resulting in the elimination of crosstalk and possible distortions. This results in cleaner, clearer reproduction with substantially increased stereo imaging. Regardless of the composition being played, the Vertoʼs expansive stereo separation provides lifelike realism, and accurate tonal balance devoid of coloration.
To further minimize signal degradation and maximize signal flow, the Verto has been engineered using high quality industrial grade PCB. Additionally, gold plated RCA jacks with Teflon insulation provide optimal conductivity for use with high quality interconnects. Internally, the unit is assembled with an absolute bare minimum of internal wiring, preserving absolute signal integrity.
The Ortofon Verto maintains compatibility with most Moving Coil cartridges, with internal jumbers offering two gain/impedance options. This affords audiophiles with broad flexibility while still maintaining a clean aesthetic.

| Reloop's slipmats are made of quality felt and facilitate particularly good anti-slipping abilities. Placed between the platter and a record they facilitate scratching and back cueing.

Torq Control CD allows you to manipulate audio files in Torq using your favorite DJ CD player. Simply connect your player to a suitable audio interface, enable external control in Torq, and youʼll be able to cue and scratch your music just as if you were using the original CDs. Super-fast response allows for even the most intricate scratching techniques, and bi-directional positioning ensures that Torq precisely tracks the CD for easy beat-juggling.
