Clip-On Tuner for Guitar / Clip-On Tuner for Bass / Clip-On Tuner for Ukulele The tuner that's shaped like a headstock The ideal clip-on guitar/bass/ukulele tuner for beginners The headtune is a clip-on tuner with a unique design that's based on the shape of a guitar, bass, or ukulele headstock. With the headtune attached to the headstock of your instrument, play a single note on the string that you want to tune. Two indicators will illuminate: the string indicator LED will show the peg position, and the LED meter will indicate the tuning of that note. This makes it obvious which peg needs to be adjusted. You can choose from a lineup consisting of four models: two models that are suitable for standard guitar headstocks, a model for bass, and a model for ukulele. With the innovation and precision you expect from Korg, the headtune makes tuning easy! Highlights: Clip-on tuner shaped like your instrument's headstock New compact, lightweight and discreet design Wide viewing angle and LEDs for excellent visibility Highly stable clip attaches firmly to the headstock Auto Power-Off feature extends battery life |

Tuning used to be a necessary evil. The last barrier before you could get truly rocking. But now, tuning is ready to get blasted into the 21st century with PolyTuneTM, the stomp-box sized tuning miracle from TC Electronic!PolyTuneTM is the world's first polyphonic tuner, and a game-changing total tuning turnaround that will have future guitarists wondering how we ever got by without it.
The magic lies in a never before seen approach to tuning aimed at speed, accuracy and ease of use. With PolyTuneTM, you simply strum all strings on your guitar or bass at once, and it will immediately tell you which strings need tuning! This cutting-edge tuning technology revolutionizes the way you tune and accomplishes what has been deemed 'impossible' until now: tuning all strings simultaneously! It really is as simple as strum - tune - rock, and this quantum leap forward allows you to get in tune fast, and back to doing what you love: playing.
Providing an instant overview of the pitch of all your strings, PolyTuneTM is an invaluable tool in live-settings, where it is essential to be in tune quickly and ready to play. Crowds don't want to wait around, they want to rock, and, let's face it, so do you. Besides live use, this stomp box will deliver like no other in any situation where you want to get tuning out of the way and focus on play.

Specialized tuning
With its lively up-tempo sounds that feature various stringed instruments, bluegrass music is enjoyed by people all over the world. Korg has now created a dedicated tuner for bluegrass instruments ---
The BA-40 allows you to tune bluegrass instruments including- banjo, fiddle, mandolin, resophonic guitar-in addition to standard guitar and bass. Perfect fifths are supported for fiddle tuning. The LCD meter-type display provides better than +/-1 cent accuracy, and features excellent visibility on stage or in the studio to ensure that you can tune easily and accurately.
Accurate tuning
With a detection range of E1@bbbbb (30.868 Hz) to C8 (4186 Hz), the BA-40 covers the entire range of instruments used in bluegrass music, and also allows you to adjust the pitch up or down in semitone (half note) steps so that you can use sharp/flat tunings relative to the standard tunings of these instruments. You can even tune your guitar with a capo still attached. Markings on the meter allow you to use a tuning reference in a range of 430 Hz to 450 Hz.
*Even if the pitch is within range, detection may not be possible for instruments that produce large numbers of overtones, or for instruments that have very fast decay's.
Sound Out mode
The BA-40's Sound Out mode uses the internal speaker to play a reference tone of the correct pitch for each string of the instrument you're tuning. You'll be able to tune more accurately by using both eye and ear as well as train your sense of pitch by repeatedly listening to the reference tone.
Bypass function
The BA-40 provides an output jack that can be connected directly to your amp/speaker system. This allows you to leave your instrument connected to the tuner while you perform so you can easily check tuning at any time. By using the optional CM-100L contact microphone you can tune accurately even in noisy environments.
Auto Power Off function
The Auto Power Off function conserves battery life by automatically turning the power off when the unit is not in use for ten minutes.
