Oriental Scales / Scale Setting Button
The PSR-A2000 comes equipped with six of the worldʼs most well-known scales as presets, ensuring that you can perform almost any genre of music straight away. Yamaha's Oriental Scales feature takes this flexibility even further, allowing you to raise or lower the pitch of specific notes to create your own scales. With 220 pre-recorded interactive patterns in a variety of styles, the instrument offers front-and-center control panels with easy access to all system functions including Sound Selection, Styles, Split, Transpose, and Effects such as Reverb, Chorus, and EQ. The easy-to-use song-recording feature lets you record your own keyboard performances as a user song, and the keyboard allows up to 10 user songs to be recorded and stored in internal memory.
Furthermore, the KP100 has a detachable music stand and is equipped with a built-in, 2-speaker, 3W sound system. Other features include stereo 1/4" inputs, stereo 1/4" outputs, a 1/4" Hi-Z microphone input, and a 1/4" stereo headphone output. A USB port allows for MIDI over USB for connecting to/from an external computer sequencer; it also provides for storage capabilities. The KP100 ships with a sheet-music stand and a 12-VDC external power supply.
