The Kurzweil M3W digital piano fuses traditional spinet piano design and styling, coupled with an Italian-made, 88-note, fully weighted, "wood embedded" graded hammer action with adjustable touch sensitive keys. Its sound system is optimized for both the player and the audience, with excellent sound dispersion and a wide stereo sound field. The M3W uses Kurzweil's exclusive Mara sound chip and VAST architecture to create the most realistic and playable instrument sounds available, including the famous Kurzweil Triple Strike Grand Piano and a diverse array of additional instrument selections. The intermediate CL35 model delivers the same functionality and compact footprint as the CL25, while offering a number of enhanced features. Very good sound quality for the small purse

The KX-21 has mahogany hammer mouldings which combined with the pianos extra height and larger sound board give this model a richer deeper tone. The piano action is from Kawai's "professional" series to facilitate faster repetition for playing more advanced pieces. Each key is individually weighted to ensure an even touch across the keyboard. This allows experienced musicians and students to develop a reliable piano technique.
