With 6 inputs and 4 outputs the dbx ZonePro? 640 and 641 provide flexible signal routing,
powerful DSP processing and multiple control interfaces for Commercial Audio applications.
Designed to offer superior system sonic performance and flexibility, the 640/641 deliver the
highest quality tools available. Even the input and outputs connectors were chosen for their
standard usage and reliability. The ZonePro products offer Euroblock connectors for balanced
signals and RCA connectors for interfacing with consumer equipment often used in commercial
applications; there is also a simple analog input buss that allows inputs to be sent from one
unit to the next for unit and job scalability. The 640 and 641 provide every necessary processing
tool, from the input processing like gain control and EQ available on all inputs to highly sophisticated
and specific functions such as selectable paging microphone processing including Gating,
De-Essing, Auto Gain Control, Compression and Feedback Suppression. The heart of the
ZonePro products is the Routing module that provides of course Primary Source Selection
but also Source Ducking for Paging and Priority Override. The outputs also offer a wealth of
processing designed for commercial applications like our patent-pending AutoWarmth? function
that was co-developed with JBL to provide natural low frequency extension at any signal level.
Each output also offers EQ, Bandpass and Crossover filters, Limiting and Delay for system
optimization. With the ZonePro? every tool is at your disposal to maximize the response of
your system.
Beyond processing, the ZonePro? products offer multiple forms of control to further extend the
versatility of your system. From easy-to-use wall panel Zone Controllers for standard end-user
functions like source select and volume control to advanced system control including a built-in
Real Time Clock that can provide programmable system changes throughout the day or week.
For system setup and monitoring the ZonePro Designer software provides an intuitive interface

Features Four Independent Compressor Channels Channels 1 and 2, 3 and 4 are stereo linkable 7 LED Gain Reduction metering Balanced XLR Inputs and Outputs Sidechain Insert points Intuitive, user friendly layout Flawless performance The sheer amount of effects and signal processors necessary for today's standards of audio production puts a great strain on the available space in equipment racks, both in the studio and on the road. So, ARX would like to introduce the ARX Quadcomp. An all-new upgrade of the classic award-winning ARX Quadcomp?, the very first four channel 1 RU compressor. You?ll notice that we haven?t strayed very far from our original design concept. The Quadcomp is still four variable ratio Compressor/ Limiters neatly housed in a compact all steel 1 RU package. However, all new low noise/low distortion circuitry, better metering plus XLR inputs and outputs put the Quadcomp in a class of its own. More Control, Less Space On the front panel, each channel has the 'industry standard' individual controls for Threshold, Compression Ratio and Output, plus a new 7 LED Gain Reduction display for accurate visual indication of the amount of gain reduction being applied to the program, and an IN/OUT hardwire bypass switch. In addition to this, each channel has a blank numbered panel to write on for easy confirmation of compressor assigns. Precision Circuitry Internally, each compressor uses Class A VCAs and true 2 pole averaging RMS/DC converters for low distortion and accuracy, plus program dependent attack and release time, which automatically determines optimum compressor response. Balanced Inputs and Outputs The rear panel has true differential Balanced XLR Inputs and Outputs for each compressor. Each compressor has a TRS jack Sidechain access insert point, for frequency sensitive compression, De-essing, etc. in conjunction with an external equalizer (such as the ARX EQ260). Compressor pairs 1 and 2, 3 and 4 also have rear panel mounted Stereo Link switches for accurate stereo tracking. When switched IN, the first channel becomes the master and controls all the functions of the second except Output gain. Universal AC Power AC power range is switchable 100 to 120V, or 220 to 240V, and is connected to the unit via a standard IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage switch. Whatever the application ? Channel insert, Bus insert, Master Outputs, Monitor outputs, Crossover outputs, the Quadcomp II?s unique High Density design, precision Low Noise circuitry and clean uncluttered layout make it a truly useful audio tool for all applications.

The dbx? 12 Series were designed to meet the needs of the most demanding sound reinforcement environments, while offering the simplicity of straightforward controls. The 1231 provides standard features like dual-channels, 31 1/3 octave bands, ISO frequency centers, +/- 12 dB input gain range, and switchable 40Hz/18 dB per octave low-cut filters, but also includes other insightful features. These include 45 mm faders; selectable +/-6dB or +/-15dB boost/cut range for precise gain adjustments; XLR, barrier strip, and 1/4'' TRS connectors for installation ease; balanced inputs and outputs for quiet operation; and chassis/signal ground lift capabilities for quick hum isolation. The visionary design of the dbx 12 Series makes your job easier.
The dbx 12 Series Equalizers were precision engineered to provide years of maintenance-free operation in any application. The magnetically isolated transformer, electronically balanced/unbalanced inputs and servo balanced/unbalanced outputs, RF-filtered inputs and outputs, and power-off hard-wire relay bypass with 2 second power up delay were steps our engineers took to ensure compatibility for all installations. Only the best components were utilized, yielding a 10Hz to 50kHz frequency response, greater than 90dB SNR (ref +4dBu), less than 0.005% THD +Noise (1kHz at +4dBu), and interchannel crosstalk of less than -80dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. All this attention to detail is contained in a 3U steel/aluminum chassis.
