The Komplete Audio 6 is one of the best performing USB audio interfaces and has been a decent purchase ever since it was released in 2011. 8 years later Native Instruments finally get around to building a couple more interfaces along similar lines. The Komplete Audio 1 and Komplete Audio 2 are designed to be simple, entry-level interfaces and they look quite tidy.

Komplete Audio 1

First up is the imaginatively named Komplete Audio 1. It has 1 XLR microphone input and 1 regular jack input for instrument or line level. Outputs are on RCA phono for connecting to your hi-fi speakers and a headphone output with its own level control. It’s got some sweet VU LED meters on the top and a lovely big volume knob like the Audio 6 before it. It has direct monitoring and an input/host mix knob so you can hear playback while recording. Simple, elegant, USB powered, good quality recording and playback for your computer or laptop.

The Smallest, Most Portable 2x2 USB Interface Around! Are you looking for a simple upgrade to your computer's stock audio hardware? Do you want to record high-quality stereo audio to your laptop? Are you searching for the most affordable audio interface for computer DJ applications? The Behringer UCA222 USB Audio Interface does all this and more in one of the smallest, simplest, and lowest-priced packages around. It's a quick, simple, reliable solution for a wide range of audio applications. High-Quality, Industry Standard ConnectionsLook at your computer's audio output. What is it? A 1/8-inch mini stereo jack, most likely. That's fine for plugging in headphones, but a terrible way to connect to external sound systems, stereos, PAs, mixing boards, or any other audio hardware. The UCA222 easily connects to your outboard pro audio gear, and you even get an optical S/PDIF digital output for connecting to high-end digital equipment. Now, take a look at your computer's input. If it has one at all, it's most likely the same deal -- 1/8-inch mini-jack. Again, the Behringer UCA222 provides universally recognized RCA inputs for bringing a wide variety of audio sources and equipment into your computer for pristine recording. You also get a dedicated headphone output for direct monitoring of both the ins and the outs on the UCA222. Greatly Improved AudioYou computer's built-in audio system has a number of limitations, especially if your computer is a laptop. Machine noise and other electrical interference can disrupt, distort, or otherwise ruin recording and critical listening and playback situations. The Behringer UCA222 solves this problem by placing your sound card at the end of a USB cable run far from your machine's noisy electrical components. It seems like a such a simple solution, but this arrangement greatly reduces interference and provides a wonderfully low noise-floor for recording and professional playback. The UCA202 provides analog-to-digital audio conversion at 48 kHz or 44.1 kHz sampling rates and 16-bit resolution. Super Simple Setup As a USB device, the UCA222 is the textbook example of a Plug-N-Play device. Compatible with both Windows and Mac systems, the UCA222 requires no additional software drivers to work. Relying on your operating system's sound architecture, the UCA222 is instantly compatible with just about every audio software on the market, from multitrack DAWs like Logic and Cubase to audio editing programs like BIAS to DJ software like Itch. Spend time making music, not troubleshooting your hardware. The applications for the Behringer UCA222 USB Audio Interface are practically limitless. Whether you're an electronic music producer, latptop DJ, mix engineer, audio archivist, or just a lover of music, the Behringer UCA222 is just about the easiest way to add a professional audio interface to your computer.

Equipped with the latest generation 24-bit, enhanced multi-bit 128x oversampling 192-kHz converters, the HD192 achieves a remarkable A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB with balanced XLR connectors throughout. Ideal for surround applications, the HD192's 12 inputs and 12 outputs can support two simultaneous 5.1 mixes. And the HD192 is full of advanced features, like AES/EBU I/O with sample rate conversion both in and out.

The PCI-424 card introduced with the 2408mk3 is 192-kHz ready. Just connect the HD192 expansion interface to record 192-kHz audio.

The HD192 can be purchased as an expander for an existing PCI-424-based MOTU Audio System, or as a core system which includes the PCI-424 card and Audiodesk workstation software.

Yamaha GO46 FireWire Interface

The GO46 FireWire interface from Yamaha provides a means to stream
high-quality 24-bit/192kHz digital audio and MIDI into a computer. Connect
it to a laptop, and you've got a rugged and portable interface that can go
anywhere you go, hence the name "GO46." This box is the ideal interface
for great-sounding audio on the "GO."

Yamaha GO46 FireWire Audio/MIDI Interface At a Glance
Premium Mic Pres and Inputs
FireWire Connectivity
Flexible Connectivity Including S/PDIF, Insert Points, and MIDI

Premium Mic Pres and Inputs
The GO46 features combo mic/line terminals (for both XLR and phone jack)
on the front panel. Phantom power is also available and independently
switchable for each input channel. In other words, you can use a condenser
microphone on channel 1 with phantom power switched on to capture the
delicate sounds of a vocal while simultaneously recording an electric/acoustic
guitar plugged into channel 2. These combo inputs are captured at up to 24-bit/
192kHz resolution. This pro-level quality makes the GO46 perfect for any type
of recording, and allows you to capture the full details and nuances of the
original source - from the breathiness of a vocal to the delicate finger slides of
an acoustic guitar performance.

FireWire Connectivity
The FireWire equipped GO46 not only offers the convenience of one plug
connection to a computer, but the GO46 can be powered via bus power
from the FireWire port. Connect the GO46 to the FireWire terminal of a
laptop and you've got and extremely powerful and portable recording studio
that will fit in a backpack. This is also great for using the GO46 in places
where electrical outlets can be scarce, like local clubs.

Flexible Connectivity Including S/PDIF, Insert Points, and MIDI
In order to maximize the flexibility of the GO46, Yamaha included virtually
any kind of connection you might need on location recording gigs. Two
insert points allow for connection to outboard gear like compressors or EQs.
MIDI in/out allows for connection of MIDI sound modules or instruments.
S/PDIF jacks are great for inputting digital signal from another interface or
throughputting the GO46 signal to a digital mixer, separate digital recorder,
or any other digital device.
