With the TLM 102, the Berlin microphone manufacturer Neumann is defining a new generation of studio microphones. This applies not only to the design of the microphone but also to the price.

The reduced overall size contributes to an exceptionally compact appearance, which unites all of the typical design components of a Neumann microphone. The harmonious proportions and gleaming grille ring ensure that even at first glance, the TLM 102 attracts attention.

The TLM 102 is impressive in terms of sound: In the interior is a newly developed large-diaphragm capsule (cardioid) with a maximum sound pressure level of 144 dB which permits the recording of percussion, drums, amps and other very loud sound sources, for example. However the most important applications are in the realm of vocals and speech; a slight boost above 6 kHz provides for excellent presence of the voice in the overall mix.

Behringer C-2 2 Matched Studio Condenser Microphones 2 Matched Studio Condenser Microphones
  • 2 matched condenser microphones for stereo studio recording and live applications
  • Ideal as main and support microphones for studio and live applications
  • Cardioid pickup pattern for effective feedback elimination
  • Low-mass diaphragm for ultra-wide frequency response and ultimate sound reproduction
  • Switchable low-frequency roll-off and input attenuation
  • Ultra low-noise transformerless FET input eliminates low-frequency distortion
Excellent Source Isolation Our C-2 mics also feature a low-frequency rolloff switch to eliminate infrasonics (mic handling noise, sound created by creaky stages), as well as a switchable -10 dB input pad to accommodate hot signals, such as a really loud vocalist or overzealous cellist. The cardioid pickup pattern provides unparalleled sound source separation and feedback rejection. C-2 mics contain ultra low-noise transformerless FET input circuitry that can handle extreme dynamics with a maximum sound pressure level of 136 dB. So even if the featured performer at your next recording session or live show happens to be a revved-up jet engine, this workhorse mic will not distort! Sound That Astounds Every stitch of these mics is designed to deliver beautiful sound. Beginning with the gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector, you get the highest signal integrity. Once connected to your system, youʼll notice these twin pro-caliber microphones have a 4 dB boost in the 1 kHz - 8 kHz range. For those of you new to condenser mics, this basically means youʼll get a slightly brighter sound that will give the perfect shape to cymbals and overhead miking. Acoustic pianos and choirs also benefit greatly from this type of frequency response. Behringer C-3 Dual-Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone Introducing the Professional Condenser Microphone C-3 from BEHRINGER Our latest dual-diaphragm condenser microphone C-3 is ideal for high-quality studio recording and live applications. The selectable omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-eight pickup patterns offer ultimate versatility needed to professionally record vocals and acoustic instruments. The C-3 holds a pressure-gradient transducer with a shock-mounted dual-diaphragm capsule. Its ultra-high sound resolution and flat frequency response rival those of microphones with much higher price tags. It also includes an LED that indicates phantom power operation and a gold-plated XLR output connector to ensure highest signal integrity. The C-3 comes with extensive accessories such as swivel stand and transport case. The C-3 represents state-of-the-art technology at a price that is simply unheard of.

KSM44A Multi-Pattern Dual Diaphragm Microphone Premium microphone with three polar pattern options (cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional).

Features

  • Prethos® Advanced Preamplifier Technology: Class A, discrete, transformerless preamplifier provides  transparency, extremely fast transient response and no crossover distortion. Minimizes harmonic and intermodulation distortions.
  • Groundbreaking specifications: 4dB of self-noise and max SPL of 131 dB for a total dynamic range of 127 dB – an increase of 7 dB that defines the new standard for cleanly nuanced audio capture
  • Multiple polar patterns–cardioid, omnidirectional and bidirectional–for maximum flexibility in a wide variety of recording applications
  • Dual 1 inch, externally biased, ultra-thin, 2.5 μm, 24 Karat gold-layered, low mass diaphragms provide superior frequency response
  • Premium electronic components and gold-plated internal and external connectors
  • Subsonic filter eliminates rumble from mechanical vibration below 17 Hz.
  • Switchable 15 dB pad for handling extremely high sound pressure levels (SPLs)
  • 3-position switchable low-frequency filter helps reduce unwanted stand vibration noise or counteract proximity effect
  • Integrated three-stage "pop” protection grille reduces plosives and other breath noise
