The important differences are the different binding on the top and the different dimensions also in the top. That means that with regard to the binding the guitar has much bigger resistance and obviously better sound while with regard to dimensions of the top, the thinner top amounts with more possible sound with bigger duration and more harmonics.

The 9P belongs in the "bigger” models of Alhambra with characteristics that guarantee the better acoustics of body and his bigger resistancethrough the passage of time. The body top, side and back of guitar are "worn out” and have suffered special treatment, the bindings under the top have different designing in combination withthe smaller models while infingerboard has been used ebony-tree that constitutes a material that we meet in handcrafted models.
Also the lids (and this is rule for the bigger models), are enough thinner aiming at the appropriate transport of sound and the better resonance.Use of ebony-tree guarantee the resistance of the fingerboard because the ebony-tree is timber with big density and resistance in the humidity
