The Crush Bass 50 features an EQ circuit inspired by our prestigious 4 Stroke Series amplifiers. At its centre is a parametric mid band. This presents players with a much greater degree of control over the sound than a traditional EQ, allowing them to vary the frequencies they want hear. The mid band covers a wide range, sweeping from 300Hz (fully counter-clockwise) to 2.7kHz (fully clockwise), meaning this amp can be fine tuned to suit any musical style. The active circuitry allows for up to 15dB of boost or cut on the bass and middle frequencies, and up to 20dB on the treble side.
Lifted straight from our popular OB1 Series amps, the Blend and Gain controls are a nod to the many bass players who experiment with guitar and bass amps simultaneously. In this ʽbi-ampedʼ setup, layers of harmonics and distortion from the guitar amp are blended with the core bass tone to create the ultimate full-range live sound. The Crush Bass 50ʼs Gain and Blend controls create the same effect in a single package, adding extra bite and crispness to the tone at lower gain settings, right up to all-out filth with the dials cranked. These controls can also be engaged remotely with the optional FS-1 footswitch, ideal for fattening your tone on the fly.

Guitarists have long been familiar with these best-selling, portable, solid-state combo amps, and now bass players can experience a taste of the legendary VOX brand with the Pathfinder Bass 10. From the diamond grille cloth and basket-weave vinyl leather to the vintage chicken-head knobs, the Pathfinder Bass 10 loudly proclaims its VOX pedigree. This dual- speaker, deep-thumping, portable amp is ideal for the on-the-go bass player. In addition to Treble and Bass tone-shaping controls, the Bright switch offers an edgy boost to the upper harmonics. Turning up the Drive control provides a warm, bass distortion that adds character and vitality to the tone. The Pathfinder Bass 10 pumps out 10 watts into a pair of 5" VOX bulldog speakers. A headphone/line output jack is also provided for silent practice and recording.

Marshall VBC810 Bass Amplifier Cabinet for use with VBA400
The VBC810 is a specially designed, heavy duty 8x10" cabinet for use with the VBA400 head. Built as only Marshall knows how, it features four separate sealed chambers which help to prevent unwanted cabinet resonance while adding to the structural integrity of the unit. It is also lined with sound absorbent wadding to further help dampen internal resonance.
It comes loaded with custom designed loudspeakers which have been specially designed to handle the power of the VBA400's output while giving you superb, professional performance. Operating at 4 Ohms impedance it has been designed to perfectly complement the VBA400. As the amplifier will accept a load of 2 Ohms, combinations of two cabinets can be used to create an awesome bass rig.
Clad in Marshall's trademark, heavy duty, black vinyl, the 640 Watt VBC810 boasts roadworthy, high grade fittings, including a recessed handle on the bottom for easy lifting, castors and kick plate for easy tilt and roll capability.
