ContentThe PPC112 is one of the most popular 1?12? cabinets on the market today, and with good reason. Its closed-back, 18mm birch plywood enclosure is slightly bigger than a conventional 1?12. This gives the PPC112 a greater internal volume for a fatter tone with excellent projection. Housing a single Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, the cabinet also features our unique skid runners on the base to acoustically couple the cabinets to the stage to improve low end responsiveness. For lower wattage heads like our Terror Series  or the OR15, the PPC112 is an excellent choice.Featuring two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212 is in essence our classic 4×12 slashed in half. The large internal volume of the sealed enclosure makes the PPC212 ideal for players looking for the the fattest possible tone when a 4×12″ would be too large. Many players choose to stack two PPC212 cabs for ease of load-in, also giving them the flexibility of using just one for smaller venues. Made in England from high density 13 ply 18mm Baltic birch plywood, the PPC212 is fitted with steel hardware to withstand the rigours of the road. Our unique skid runners fitted to the base helps to acoustically couple our cabinets to the stage for a fuller low end response.

Marshall 1960BV 300W 4x12'' Guitar Speaker Cabinet

Nothing personifies the image of rock 'n' roll more completely than a wall of Marshall stacks. Though often imitated, nothing compares to the original. The 1960BV is the straight version that features 4 Marshall/Celestion Vintage speakers and is the perfect addition to your stage or recording rig! It's ideal for players who appreciate a lot of low end, without all the boomyness.

Marshall 1960BV at a Glance:

  • Incredibly flexible 4x12 straight cab
  • Low End That Never Gets Boomy
  • Slightly brighter sound than a straight cab
  • Sonically speaking, nothing compares to a Marshall amp
  • Rugged and ready for the road

The Ultimate in Flexibility
To ensure the ultimate in flexibility, the 1960A (angled) and the 1960B (straight), is switchable between Mono (4 or 16 Ohms) and Stereo (8 Ohms per side). The two Mono impedance options provide extra amp matching capability while the cabinets' stereo capability makes them ideal for rack systems which typically run in stereo.

Low End That Never Gets Boomy
This has a thicker, warmer sound than the 1960A with a fat, well-defined midrange and a rounded high end that sparkles nicely while not being overly bright. It also has a good low end "chunk" which never gets "boomy.“

Offers That Low-End Thump
B (Base) cabinets offer some sonic differences. A straight cab sounds more focused and has more low-end thump. The additional size gives the cabinet a lower resonant frequency for more low-end. All speakers facing the same direction gives a more focused sound. Many players prefer to use only the B cabs, even when they are on stage with a full stack. Zakk Wylde (Ozzy's guitarist) uses only the B cabs because of the tighter low end and because (believe it or not) he values his hearing and the sound from the B cab doesn't hit him directly in the head.

Sonically Superior
The only choice for serious musicians. Nothing compares to Marshall cabinets in terms of awesome tone and projection. Both visually and aurally, Marshall 4x12 cabs are indeed rock and roll history in a stack!

Ready For Your Gig - Wherever That Might Be!
Roadworthiness is a vital prerequisite in the world of relentless touring and as Marshall's 40 years of cabinet building attests, Marshall cabinets are definitely built to stand the test of time! Their highly skilled craftsmen construct these 4x12s from the finest materials available - 15mm birch plywood with precision 'finger locked' (comb) joints, tough cotton backed PVC covering, heavy duty hardware and the highest quality fittings.

Weighing in at around 80 lbs, the JCM1960BV is made of 15mm birch plywood (except for the back panel, which is medium density fiberboard) and built for tone, projection, and durability. The majority of cabinet construction is done by hand.

Marshall 1960BV Features:

  • 300W 4x12 straight 4/16 ohm, mono; 8 ohm stereo.
  • The extra warm sounding Marshall/Celestion "Vintage" speaker - rated at 70 watts each - (1960BV/BV)
  • Black grille cloth / white piping
  • Large white logo
  • Black elephant grain vinyl
Marshall 1960B at a Glance:
  • Incredibly flexible 4x12 straight cab
  • Well-Focused and Uncluttered Sound
  • Offers that low-end thump.
  • Sonically speaking, nothing compares to a Marshall amp
  • Rugged and ready for the road

Clear and True The 1960B produces a loud, well-focused and uncluttered sound with a tight, full low end and a crisp, clear top. It projects well across the guitar's entire tonal range and its clarity makes it ideal for players who like using a fair amount of effects such as reverb, chorus or delay as it doesn't "mask" or "muddy-up" such FX. Its all-around versatility and relatively "uncolored" nature makes this one of Marshall's best selling cab. It represents the sound of the guitar and head most accurately. The Marshall 1960 cabinets are the best selling amp cabinets in the world and are standard on stages everywhere for their sound and rugged construction. While not complicated electronically, the effects of their materials, construction and speakers make the 1960s the choice of players everywhere and have made them the industry standard to this day. Marshall 1960AX 100W 4x12'' Guitar Speaker Cabinet Marshall Speaker Cabinets Marshall is the only choice for serious musicians. Nothing compares to Marshall cabinets in terms of awesome tone and projection. Both visually and aurally, Marshall 4x12 cabs are indeed "the business.“ Great sound and looks however are not everything. Many years of experience mean that their speaker cabinets are also built to stand the test of time. Highly skilled craftsmen construct them from the finest quality materials with precision corner locked joints, tough cotton backed PVC covering, heavy-duty hardware, and the highest quality fittings. The Marshall Stack If one thing personifies the image of rock 'n' roll more than anything else it's the Marshall 4x12. Though often imitated, nothing compares with the original. The first 4x12 cab was designed and built by Jim Marshall in 1962. Since then Marshall has made many thousands, which have appeared on stages both large and small all over the world. After the initial success of the Marshall 4x12, it wasn't too long before they designed and built the first stack, where an angled cabinet sits on top of a straight fronted cab, with the amplifier placed on top. This came about after discussions with Pete Townshend of The Who. Pete and Jim Marshall sat down and discussed The Who's requirements for an 8x12 cab with an angled top. This was designed and built, but due to this awesome cab being somewhat cumbersome, only six were ever made. As a result, Marshall came up with the more practical idea of stacking an angled cab on top of a straight fronted model. Thus the famous Marshall stack was born. What happened to the six 8x12 cabs you ask? Well, 2 went to Pete Townshend, 2 went to John Entwhistle and the remaining 2 went to the Small Faces. The Marshall stack on the other hand has stayed in production ever since and has gone on to become the most recognizable rock 'n' roll icon. As Marshall invented the stack, Marshall 4x12's are the only true originals. Everything else is merely an imitation. Heavy-duty castors are fitted as standard to all Marshall full size 4x12's to ensure that these cabinets are ready to roll without rocking. No sharp metal edges or rough fittings ? the smooth ABS plastic Marshall corner fits perfectly and offers excellent protection to all eight cabinet corners. The highest quality woodwork includes the 'corner locking' of each and every joint. This helps give Marshall cabinets the incredible strength and durability, which has become as legendary as the Marshall sound itself. Heavy-duty Grab Handles are fitted to all Marshall cabinets. Their tough, ergonomic recessed casing design gives easy access to the bar of the handle without affecting the cabinet's smooth lines.
