Ortofon Concorde Nightclub MKII

Following in the footsteps of the legendary Night Club series, the re-engineered Night Club MKII boasts numerous sonic improvements in both club and studio settings.  With a new cartridge body, the Night Club MKII offers increased output voltage for powerful, energetic sound and enhanced performance from integrated phono preamps such as the ones found in DJ mixers).  The redesigned elliptical stylus provides well-balanced high frequency response and ample low end reproduction.  The Night Club MKII marks a new generation of club cartridges, designed to surpass the gold standard set by the original Night Club cartridge.

Co-developed by one of the most legendary DJs of all time, the Ortofon Q.Bert provides unsurpassed handling, high output voltage, and low wear characteristics that literally put it in a class of its own. Turntablists and mix DJs alike will appreciate the strong output of this cartridge, coupled with unrivaled tracking ability and sonic characteristics.  The Q.Bert features a more subdued high end, which helps to minimize surface noise from worn vinyl, and an accentuated mid-range to help bring scratching to the front of the sound stage.

2M Bronze - The 2M series were developed in conjunction with Danish designer Møller Jensen Design – the same designer who designed the award winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series.  Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours gracefully trace the grooves on a recordʼs surface, the 2Mʼs handsome elegance establishes a great combination of form and functionality. 

2M are designed for precise and accurate retrieval of the information in the record groove. Our philosophy is to play the record sound as accurate as possible, without coloring the sound. We have optimized the design for ease of mounting the cartridge, weight and size to fit the most common turntables at the market today.

The 2M Bronze features a nude Fine Line diamond stylus, which is particularly suited for demanding applications.  The slim profile of the Fine Line stylus will track even the highest frequency information, making it a must for discerning listeners.  Additionally, its larger footprint ensures reduced distortion and record wear.

The cartridge body used for the 2M Bronze is manufactured from a newly-developed Noryl plastic/glass combination, a revolutionary material which ensures high rigidity while eliminating unwanted resonances.  The 2M Bronze uses a special upgraded engine, featuring split pole pins with a silver plated copper wire.
