A stage is only as good as its cables — and the AHMCT 8 sets the record straight.

The AHMCT 8 tests the most critical cables on the stage itself and flags up whether they are functioning or not, both visibly via LEDs and audibly via a buzzer. This makes it the perfect tool for engineers — both in the workshop and on stage.

The Pro AHMCT is operated simply, intuitively and safely via a single rotary switch on the device. The sturdy metal housing withstands even tough on-stage demands.

The standard kit comes with two test probes for carrying out fast and simple continuity tests on various cables or installations.

  • Solid metal housing
  • Powered by a 9-V block battery
  • Tests Speakon, XLR, jack/TRS, cinch and midi/DIN cables
  • Additional continuity tester with measuring probes
  • Optical display and buzzer

This is an on-the-road tool you certainly can't miss in your gearbox! A nifty, handy cabletester, which allows you to check up to six (welding) connections and gives you a visual readout by 2 rows of 6 LED's. The checking itself is done manually per connected pin. A LED will light up to indicate what pin is connected correctly on which side. A short-circuit check with a red LED and audio-warningsignal is also included. On the left and right side you'll find inputs for 6,3 symm. jack, BNC, RCA, 5p. DIN, 5p. XLR, 3p. XLR and Neutrik® Speakon®.

Cable Tester ACT-100

The Alphaton active remote cable tester can be used for testing either normal short
cables or long ones, especially mufticores, wkh connectors not being accessible at
one time. The tester is especially suded for fixed installations where cables can not
be tested with a standard type cable tester or Ohm meter. Either symmetric and
unsymmetric cables can be tested.
“Cold" solderings and junction resistances are displayed by color or luminosity changes
in three color LED Display. The imprinted fault table incorporates alt important fault
conditions, indeed not all possible ones due to their reiatively large number. In case the
display is in a state which cannot be found on the imprinted table, it can be looked up in
the user's manual. In any case, however, the cabie is in aquite unusable state and should
be repaired or replaced. The Alphaton cable tester has a SEND and a REMOTE section.
The REMOTE sectionconsistsof two recessed mounted XLR type male or female connector
and a stereo phone jack at the right hand side of the tester. Additionally, a separate REMOTE
plug is delivered togetherwith the active remote cable tester for testing long cables in fixed
installations.

We all know how frustrating and time consuming it can be when your audio cables fail. With the dbx CT2 cable testing unit you can now evaluate a large variety of your cables with ease. The CT2 offers many common connectors such as Speaker Twist, XLR, Phono, BNC, DIN, TRS, TS, DMX, & Banana. The CT2 allows for testing cables even with different connectors at each end. For example, it is simple to test a TRS to XLR cable. With well illuminated LED indicators and a simple rotary dial, users can quickly establish whether a cable is wired and functioning correctly, or if it is dead and in need of repair. Features
  • 6-position rotary selector with individual LEDʼs for up to five pins plus internal battery life check
  • ʽBananaʼ connector continuity tester with beeper and LED indicator
  • Super-rugged construction for durability and longer life
  • (2) Speaker Twist connectors for testing of 4 pin->to pin connections
  • (2) XLR connectors (1 x Male, 1 x Female) for testing of 3 pin->to pin connections
  • (2) RCA Phono connectors for testing of 2 pin->to pin connections
  • (2) BNC connectors for testing of 2 pin->to pin connections
