Dolby Atmos for 3.1.2ch with Surround Enhancer
The VSX-832 supports up to 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos*. Surround Enhancer*, developed by Dolby Laboratories, Inc., is a virtual speaker technology based on Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF). With DSP, virtual surround speakers deliver the sound that usually comes from surround speakers. The 3.1.2ch is virtually expanded to 5.1.2ch to create 3D surround sound field. Even those who have difficulty installing rear speakers can also enjoy various audio formats** in a wide sound field with Surround Enhancer, as well Dolby Atmos.

DTS:X™
DTS:X is the next-generation audio codec from DTS that leverages object-based audio to enable new immersive and interactive audio experiences. Reflex Optimizer
When using Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, high directivity sound from the unit reflects off the ceiling, while low directivity sound directly reaches the ears. The different pathways cause a phase shift, making the sound feel uncomfortable. The Reflex Optimizer which uses the Phase Control technology adjusts this shift, and improves the localisation of the sound image by aligning the frequencies with those of the floor speakers, creating the ideal reproduction environment.
Next Generation Video Standard Ready
The VSX-832 supports pass-through for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. By connecting the source device, you can enjoy these latest video standards on a compatible display. What’s more, all HDMI terminals support 4K, BT.2020, and HDCP 2.2, so you will have no problem when upgrading to new devices.
MCACC Auto Room Tuning
Create the optimum acoustic environment with Pioneer’s MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System), developed with the expertise of professional recording studios. With the custom microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level and distance, and equalises response.
Synchronised Sound with Phase Control
As an innovative solution for the phase lag between the subwoofer and the main channel speakers caused by the bass management filter, Phase Control compensates the delayed bass to improve sound synchronisation.

Enjoy immersive multi-channel sound with the Denon AVR-X2600H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 95W of power at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources, such as smartphones and tablets. Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity enables the AVR-X2600H to access a variety of internet-based music sources. The receiver can be controlled via, and integrated into, your Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Apple Siri ecosystem.
With eight HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, this receiver can act as a video switcher for your HD source components. It will pass through 4K signals along with HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision HDR formats. The receiver also has a USB port for accessing media stored on compatible USB flash drives. The Denon Setup Assistant will appear on your HDMI-connected display to help you through the setup process.
Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos surround sound technology dispenses with channel-based coding in favor of more advanced object-based coding, giving the sound designer the ability to precisely place sounds anywhere in the 3-dimensional space. The AVR-X2600H features the ability to connect a 5.2-channel surround sound speaker system with two additional overhead speakers, or two additional Dolby Atmos-certified up-firing speakers.

DTS:X brings the home theater experience to new heights with its immersive object-based audio technology, which removes the bounds of channels. The flexibility of objects allows for sound to be scaled large or small and moved around the room, leading to a richer, more immersive audio experience in a 5.2.2-channel configuration.

DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization enable you to enjoy an immersive sound experience from as little as a 2.1-channel system, creating virtual height effects.

Featuring six HDMI ports, including one located on the front panel, plus an HDMI output, the AVR-X2600H is compatible with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz content, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, BT.2020, 21:9 video, 3D, eARC, and HDR pass-through. All HDMI ports are HDCP 2.3-compliant for 4K UHD copy-protected content. HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision pass-through are supported for enhanced contrast and color with compatible displays and content. 3D audio is passed through from your compatible display to the receiver via eARC over HDMI.

The receiver uses AKM 32-bit D/A converters for decoding audio from a variety of lossless file types, including ALAC, FLAC, and WAV at up to 24-bit / 196 kHz, along with compatibility for 2.8/5.6 MHz DSD files, which is the audio coding format of SACD. You can play them from memory devices or network sources. The AVR-X2600H also supports other file types such as MP3 and WMA.
