NEXT is a series of speakers which reaches the highest standards of its class. All of the components have been designed to obtain an exceptional sound and performance quality. Realised in injected Polypropylene, the robust cabinet has been designed to handle any type of stress and is both light and easy to transport. The woofer, which features a die-cast aluminium basket has an excellent sound level due to the use of the very light neodymium magnet (NEXT12HP4/HP8/HBA and NEXT15HP4/HP8/HBA). All models feature an exclusive 90° x 60°constant coverage horn which gives a precise control and constant dispersion in the high frequencies, which are supplied by a 1” compression driver, giving a clear, clean and well defi ned sound. The dedicated 12dB/oct crossover, which features a PTC electronic protection, ensures the correct control of the sound. The active versions are bi-amplifi ed systems which supply the correct power levels to the high and low frequency transducers, reducing distortion and the power compression effect to a minimum. The amplifi ers feature thermal, DC and short circuit protection as well as sub-sonic fi lters, soft start function and RF noise fi lters. The amplifi ed NEXT speakers include a pre-amplifi er with three separate balanced inputs, which allow the connection of both microphones and instruments without the need of an external mixer. The mixed signal can then be linked out into other NEXT speakers with the balance XLR output. A two-band equaliser, separate line and mic volume controls and ground lift switch complete the control panel. The ergonomic rubber handles are comfortable and the stacking system easy to use. M8 fl ying points are included for suspended installation. The trapezoidal design allows the system to be arrayed. The speakers can be used vertically or as a fl oor monitor with the optional adapter (KPTNX05 adapter available for the NEXT12 and 15). Adjustable metal supports and eyebolts (AC169B) allow the system to be suspended. Resistant TNT covers are available for the whole series.
