The brand new RB110 tonearm now features a preset bias force and premounted Carbon MM cartridge making setup a breeze. Simply slide on the balance weight and you\'re ready to listen to your vinyl in seconds. Additionally, the new 24v low noise motor works in tandem with the bespoke zero play bearing and phelonic resin platter to effectively keep speed consistent, reduce vibration and ultimately improve your listening experience. Other improvements include optimized feet for more stability and vibration reduction, new motor cover tray with integrated cooling, and redesigned ergonomic headshell. Comes complete with dustcover and felt record mat.
Tonearm

| Pro-Ject has decided to go after the cheap plastic turntable market with an high quality alternative that comes complete with an Ortofon cartridge. The new Elemental table is a real "plug'n'play" all the way. No adjustment of counterweight and antiskating is needed, because both are pre-adjusted. This new straight ultra low mass tonearm is optimised for Ortofon OM cartridge series. All the buyer needs to do is remove it from the box, remove bearing guard, locate the belt around the platter, remove stylus guard and plug it in.
The only plastic here is the stylus guard. The hidden secret to the new table's sonic success, is a central gravity mass point, made from artificial stone and placed directly underneath the platter bearing. A quiet-running synchronous motor with silicone belt is driving a low-resonance platter made from MDF. A new motor control with DC power supply minimzes unwanted vibration effectively. The main platter bearing consists of stainless steelspindle and bronze bushing with Teflon bottom to seccure low friction.
The main chassis is made from lightweight, but very stiff particle board. Essential II utilises a straight 8,6" aluminium tonearm design made from a single piece of aluminium with sapphire bearings, which offers a far better „plug & play" solution, than itʽs predecessor. Special feet effectively decouples the turntable from the surface.
