Broadcaster - ?The Master of the Airwaves?
Like its name suggests this R?DE microphone was specifically designed ?ON-AIR?
applications where wide frequency response and low distortion are demanded.
Winner of the Radio World/US National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) ?What?s
Cool? award in 1998, the Broadcaster has become an industry standard when studio
sound quality is required for on air applications.
Utilizing an Australian designed and manufactured R?DE 1? externally biased condenser
transducers, the Broadcaster features a switch-able high pass filter to remove low frequency
rumble. A unique ?ON-AIR? LED indicator can be switched ?on? or ?off? by shorting contacts
on the 5 pin audio connector. This feature allows console operators to warn the ?Talent?
that the mic is live.

Audio-Technica's AT897 is designed for field audio acquisition in film/TV/video production, professional recording, wildlife recording and broadcast applications. It mounts conveniently on a DV camcorder without adding noticeable heft, and remains out of the frame even with compact digital cameras. This high-performance short shotgun offers outstanding long-distance audio pickup due to narrow acceptance angle of line + gradient design. It also features smooth, natural-sounding on-axis audio quality and excellent off-axis rejection of sound arriving from the sides and rear of mic.

RØDELink represents the next generation of digital wireless systems. Using a series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, it is able to constantly monitor and hop between frequencies to maintain the strongest possible signal level at a range of up to 100 metres (over 100 yards). The RØDELink Filmmaker Kit provides everything you need to start shooting video wirelessly, including a receiver, transmitter and broadcast-grade lavalier microphone. The receiver (RX-CAM) features an OLED display with information on level, battery status (receiver and transmitter), mute and channel selection. The unit can be mounted on a standard camera shoe mount, 3/8" thread or belt-clip, and for added versatility the shoe mount can be located in one of two positions. The lightweight transmitter (TX-BELT) can be fitted to a belt or clothing and features a locking thread to ensure the microphone connection is as secure as possible. RØDEʼs omnidirectional Lavalier microphone is included in the kit to provide the highest possible audio reproduction quality.

This product, like the VideoMic (VM), now the worldʼs biggest selling on camera shotgun microphone, is also destined to become an Industry standard and not only offers the same sound quality & performance as itʼs predecessor, but also meets the industry demand for stereo recording.
Now videographers may use true ʽstudioʼ stereo recording techniques in the field with ease. The X/Y configuration enables the SVM to capture the true ambience of the recording space, while still offering a high level of rear rejection and low noise.
Fitted with a shoe mount, the SVM has the same low noise circuit design as the VM. The SVM offers 9V battery operation, an LED battery status indicator, a high pass filter switch, and a -10dB pad switch which allows for the mic to be used on most cameras with perfect level control.
You can also use the SVM as a remote mic on a stand, or a RØDE boom pole (Optional Accessory), which truly makes this versatile product well suited for all video applications including Electronic News Gathering (ENG), Weddings, Sports Events & Interviews.

The CS-50 is a compact, light-weight stereo condenser microphone designed for the R-4 and R-4 Pro, videographer, broadcaster, and sound designer. The CS-50 features bass roll-off capability as well as selectable wide stereo or narrow (focused) polar patterns.
From Edirol, the CS-50 Stereo Microphone is designed for use with the Edirol/Roland R4 portable digital field recorder. The microphone features wide stereo and narrow polar patterns. The wide stereo pattern reproduces audio with accurate stereo imaging while the mono pattern is focused and reduces signal at the sides of the capsule. The CS-50 features a low frequency roll-off switch for eliminating hum and low-frequency noise due to wind or proximity effect. A dual XLR output cable is supplied.
Wide Stereo PatternThe wide stereo pattern provides a generous pick up area while reproducing signal with accurate stereo placement. This setting is ideal for ambiance capturing, live music, sound effects, etc.Mono (Narrow) PatternThe narrow pattern provides a focused pick up at the front end of the capsule. The result is an accurate signal without noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule.Low Frequency Roll-OffThe low-frequency roll-off switch eliminates hum and low-frequency noise due to wind, handling and proximity effect.Light Weight ProfileThe light weight, slim profile make the CS-50 ideal for location use while mounted on a boom, pistol grip or camera.
