Seamless integration was the idea, and it was obtained by creating a studio dynamic microphone with unparalleled A/D converters, so that the microphone can be plugged into any computer with no in/out boxes, no expensive computer pre-amps, just a USB cable. The Podcaster offers an end-address configuration, the clarity of RØDEʼs tailored-for-voice frequency response, an ʽONʼ L.E.D, a direct headphone amp, and of course very low self noise. The microphone comes complete with a 3M USB cable. Optional extras include a shock mounting system and soon to be released Anglepoise style table mount arm. The mic opens up possibilities for anyone who records audio—from podcasters, journalists and students to business people adding audio files to websites and multimedia presentations. Create your own radio show, or let us do it for you, as we have even developed a website to host and broadcast podcasts for RØDE Podcaster customers. Read more about our service at rodepodcaster.com

| The R?DE VideoMic is a professional grade shotgun microphone. Based on the
latest ?Film industry? technology, the VideoMic is designed specifically for use with
high quality Digital Video Cameras.
The microphone exhibits low noise and an unusually wide bandwidth for its size. It
is ultra lightweight, yet rugged due to it?s ABS construction. The VideoMic is powered
by a standard 9 V battery and offers a Low Battery LED status indicator and a
switchable high pass filter to reduce unwanted low frequency rumble.
The VideoMic attaches to any Camcorder that has the standard camera-shoe fitting
and utilizes a stereo mini jack for audio output.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Features:
Studio recording quality. Rugged fibre-reinforced ABS construction. 9 V battery operation.
Custom designed integral wind shield. Condenser Microphone. Low noise circuitry. Low
handling noise. Integral camera-shoe mount. Designed & manufactured in Australia.
Full 2 year guarantee.
Operation power:
The VideoMic is designed to operate from a 9 V battery (ANSI:1604A or IEC:6LR61).
The battery is conveniently located within the support arm of the microphone. A fully
removable access cover and a 1-way insertion mechanism ensure ease of loading.
The battery will provide more than 100 hrs. of continuous use due to a low consumption
of only 5.0 mA.
Operation output impedance:
The microphone will operate satisfactorily into a load impedance as low as 1 k?.
If a load below this is used, the output signal level will be reduced.

Broadcaster - ?The Master of the Airwaves?
Like its name suggests this R?DE microphone was specifically designed ?ON-AIR?
applications where wide frequency response and low distortion are demanded.
Winner of the Radio World/US National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) ?What?s
Cool? award in 1998, the Broadcaster has become an industry standard when studio
sound quality is required for on air applications.
Utilizing an Australian designed and manufactured R?DE 1? externally biased condenser
transducers, the Broadcaster features a switch-able high pass filter to remove low frequency
rumble. A unique ?ON-AIR? LED indicator can be switched ?on? or ?off? by shorting contacts
on the 5 pin audio connector. This feature allows console operators to warn the ?Talent?
that the mic is live.
