The Sontronics OMEGA (not currently in production) is a valve condenser microphone that employs a highly sensitive 32mm capsule housed in the large basket, away from the body of the microphone.
OMEGA delivers stunning results on vocals, where its proximity characteristics can be used to maximum effect. The rich, warm low frequencies blend with natural highs to produce an extremely satisfying result, reminiscent of the quality you'd expect from mics costing much more.
Like HELIOS, Sontronics OMEGA houses a 12AX7/ECC83 vacuum tube. The microphone comes with its own dedicated power supply unit, the SPS-2, which features a 75Hz low-cut filter and a -10dB attenuation pad.
The microphone itself comes in a luxury wooden box inside a rugged aluminium flightcase which also houses the spider shockmount, spare elastic bands, the SPS-2 power supply unit and cables.

The C214 professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone has been designed as a cost-effective alternative to the high-end C414 family. Like the C414, the C214 offers a supreme one-inch capsule on an integrated suspension to reduce mechanical noise. A switchable 20dB attenuation pad allows recording of loud sources of up to 156dB SPL. A switchable bass-cut filter allows close-up recording with almost no proximity effect.
The C214 captures sound by combining one capsule of the legendary C414 dual-capsule system and the patented AKG Back-Plate Technology, resulting in an outstanding performance close to the famous C414 XLII.

NT2-A - ?The Legend Continues? Multi Pattern 1? Condenser Microphone.
The new NT2-A carries on the tradition forged by the now legendary R?DE NT2.
A professional large capsule (1?) studio microphone incorporating three-position
pick-up patterns, pad and high pass filter switches conveniently located on the
mic body.
At the heart of the NT2-A is the Australian designed and manufactured HF1 dual
diaphragm capsule. The frequency and transient response of this new transducer
has been voiced to complement today?s modern recording techniques, and yet still
evoke the silky smooth character of the legendary microphones of the 50?s and 60?s.
These features provide the flexibility and superlative audio characteristics that make
the NT2-A one of the most versatile condenser mics available.
The NT2-A?s variable controls allow switching between Omni, Figure 8, and Cardioid
polar patterns. The three position high-pass filter provides a flat response or an 80Hz
and 40Hz high pass filter to be selected. Finally the microphones Pad can be switched
between 0 dB, -5dB and -10dB. The NT2-A comes in a soft pouch with an M2 stand mount.

Operation power:
The NT2-A is designed to operate from phantom power to the P48 standard. The NT2-A will
operate between 44V and 52V applied with positive polarity to pin 2 and pin 3 of the output
XLR connector.
Operation output impedance:
The NT2-A will operate satisfactorily into a load impedance as low as 1 kΩ. If a load below this
is used, the output signal level will be reduced. The NT2-A output is balanced between pin 2 (hot)
and pin 3 (cold). Pin 1 is ground.
