The LD Systems HP 700 is a set of closed earphones with all of the features for professional use in the studio, in home recording, for DJs, and for "environmentally friendly" listening at home. The dynamic drivers offer accurate reproduction across the entire frequency range with precise spatial resolution and high sound pressure. The adjustable headband and cans that swivel by 25° are covered with Protein Leather®, a skin-friendly, leather-like material, ensuring a comfortable fit and a great wearing comfort. DJs appreciate that the cans can be swivelled by 180° for use as shoulder speakers. The HP 700 has an attractive UV finish.

This preset has been configured with the all-round S01 speaker unit, which delivers a balanced sound representation suitable for all music genres. The combination of the light and sturdy H01 headband and the E01 on-ear microfiber earpads results in an open sound representation, and a slim, lightweight design, suitable for both on-the-go situations and home listening.

With P7, everything is designed to allow you to lose yourself in music. Bass is tight, vocals are precisely defined, and there's a wonderful sense of space, balance and clarity across the whole frequency range. At the same time, the over-ear design and snugly-fitting ear pads ensure you become completely immersed in your listening. Because when you're hearing sound this good, you don't want anything to interrupt your enjoyment.

With P7, we have created a headphone driver that works more like the drive unit in a hi-fi speaker, with a diaphragm focused purely on the job it's supposed to do: generate sound. Which means a drive unit with a more precise, controlled movement - and a giant leap forward in sound quality.  

P7's ear pads feature a dual cavity cushion design that helps the pads mould to the contours of the wearer's head. This design maintains a consistent volume of air between the drive unit and the surface of the ear at both sides of the head. Not only is stereo imaging enhanced, but the sound is optimised for every listener.  

We've cut no corners in terms of build quality and our choice of materials. Moving parts and back plates are constructed from brushed and stainless steel, as is the ingenious folding mechanism. The logo plates are crafted from brushed aluminium. The headband and ear pads are encased in luxuriously soft leather, making them a delight to wear even for long listening sessions.

As Bowers & Wilkins first over-the-ear headphones we were able to maximise P7's acoustic properties. But we wanted to ensure P7 was wearable and portable, so thanks to an ingenious new folding mechanism using a highly durable stainless steel hinge, P7 folds up like a pair of sunglasses, and comes with a soft-cover carry case perfect for messenger bags or briefcases.

P7's cable comes with a remote/microphone attachment, so it works seamlessly with your iPhone. And because the cable is so easy to detach and swap, P7 is also compatible with all other mobile phones and MP3 players.
